I did not, Mike. I will head over there and point them to the few I have done so far :) Thanks!

Converting monsters from the second edition Monstrous Compendiums

1st level - additional spell -- Charm Person or Animate Rope (could use with dead vines to entangle foes) 2nd level - additional spell - Minor Image or See Invisibility 3rd level - additional spells - I'm not really sure on these. Wind Wall and Deep Slumber, maybe?

    Converting monsters from Dungeon Magazine

So should the original text be included in each construct entry for the module, or are we just using a portion of the text? I think most of the full text should be included, if possible, including the spells needed for construction. It would not be too hard to adapt to each creature, as long...

    Converting Maztica and Horde monsters

Eschew materials only accounts for material components that cost 1 gp or less. We can easily give him a similarly-named ability, however, that allows him to ignore ALL material component requirements for all spells. I am also fond of Omniscience :)

Converting Monsters from D&D Official Video Games

Except the text states that UNLIKE other rats, they are not afraid of fire. Their bonus would be no penalty, if other rats had a penalty... I agree, Shade -- I don't think there is much to be done with it, either, but I think it should stay in as flavor text.

Not much that I can see, except for some flavor: "Unlike other rats, this variety is not particularly afraid of flames. Many tales exist of adventurers expecting torches or bonfires to keep them safe from the rats only to be viciously attacked while unprepared."

    Converting True Dragons

I think it should cause deafness and loss of consciousness at all ages, with the length of time increasing as it gets older. Should a bit of sonic damage be added, as well?

I vote for Con damage. Yes. +8 in those areas?

I vote that it keeps the diseased bite.

#2 would be nicer for flavor, I think. I vote #2. Though if the masses choose #3, I won't be too disappointed :)

They all look good to me. I like these little guys. Almost cute, in a minorly destructive sort of way.

I think that would be the way to go, giving them understanding of their respective elemental language.

Blobs of water are tough to damage (for different reasons than chunks of soil, of course), but Toughness sounds good for them, too.

Converting monsters from the second edition Monstrous Compendiums

Snatch it is, then. Spellcasting text looks good. Skills: we can do 6 at max rank (14 ranks) I propose: Bluff, Concentration, Intimidate, Sense Motive, Listen, and Spot Still need CR, and that will give us our SR.

Well, Multiattack is out ;) How about for feats: Power Attack, Cleave, Flyby Attack, and either Snatch or a Metamagic feat?
