I like the idea of a fighter that enhances his abilities with the power of the mind however i think i'd be more appropriate for a Monk as they are already all about focusing their inter power. Is there any class like that?

A human monk has a natural weapon like every human.....it does ad3 subdual damage. You can improve that all you want. Improved unarmed stike is differant and as such doesnt stack.

I would say no. Improved Unarmed Strike already improves on the persons natural weapon. If it improved anything it would be the human's "normal natural attack" which is like 1d4 subdual. (i think)

I think that just having the metamagic feats goes a long way towards balancing the wizard and sorcerer. On of the major pitfalls that comes with being a sorcerer is simply the lack of spells but with the right metamagic feats will enable lower level spells to be as powerful as higher levels...
