One other thing, how does AC work with Wildshape. Do things like Bracers of Armor, rings of protections etc etc "work" while wildshaped. About the only lousy thing about wildshape is that most animals have an awful AC. I'd hope i wouldn't be a 16HD Dire TIger with a AC of 17 :uhoh:

one other thing that i think makes a druid good is they are less item dependant as some other classes

No multiclass or Pre- Classes. He doesn't need to be the best at something but what class brings a little bit of everything to the table. Combat, Skills, etc. I'm thinking the Druid. Its got healing spells, decent HPs combat spells. If forced into Melee being a Dire Tiger isn't a bad thing...

Sure the only issue is that our DM is probaby going to say that the enemy is watching you doing the fight and without hide in plain sight hes going to say you cant hide.
