Status of Adventure 3 - Digging for Lies

Woohoo, looking forward to it! Looks like I'll need to use another Pathfinder Society adventure or two to bulk out the time between sessions. Though it was something I wanted to do anyway :D I'm planning on running Mists of Mwangi; and setting it in the Museum of Natural history; as kind of a...

Preview: Digging for Lies portraits and maps

Thanks! My next session is on the seventh; it'll be good to have a map and key for them!

Preview: Digging for Lies portraits and maps

Any chance we can get a key for the RHC Offices maps? Because that would come in handy when I'm finishing off the Dying Skyseer and help further establish it as my PC's home base in Flint.

    Previews: Dying Skyseer battlemaps

It worked out in the end; I figured out how to get them roughly to scale by copying the pictures of the ships to word; then blowing them up 225% and printing them. And, in the end, it turned out not to matter; as they decided to head out after Wolfgang, since they had a day to kill before the...

    Previews: Dying Skyseer battlemaps

Kind of a last minute question for me, since my game is tomorrow morning, but I just realized that printing the ships didn't match them to a standard battlemap scale. How can I configure acrobat to print them at the right size? Thanks!

    Music

I used the Arcanum soundtrack at my session today for background music. Vendigroth Wastes for RHC HQ, Caladon/Tarant for the city of Flint, Caladon Catacombs for combat, and Kerghan's Castle for . It went over quite well, I feel.

    Music

Me too :D I'm going to use it as for session intro music; and the trailer itself helped me recruit some of the players for my group

    Music

I had not considered Arcanum, but it's a brilliantly inspired choice for atmospheric music for Zeitgeist. I always loved the music from the game; and now that you've pointed it out, I'm going to use it as well; starting in my session tomorrow.

ZEITGEIST [ZEITGEIST] The Continuing Adventures of Korrigan & Co.

I'll jump on the bandwagon as well. My players love the campaign; and the only people who've dropped have had to do it because of insurmountable scheduling issues; and my players are putting real effort to developing their characters in and out of the session. And I've been practicing with the...

    General Knowledge (OotS #816)

Doubtful. Haley's twenty-five; while the missing daughter was born less than fifteen years ago.

The Dying Skyseer - release date?

Just finished running the first session of the Dying Skyseer a few hours ago. While my group has suffered some unfortunate player attrition (we're down to four players); we all had an insanely good time with it. They loved it! It is, by far, the best adventure I've ever read and ran. Also, and...

    PC Business Opportunity?

Way I'm ruling it in my game is that the RHC will provide the cost of materials for anybody who makes something; but if they turn that item in, they only get the cost of materials back. The RHC doesn't need its constables spending their time at the forge when they should be investigating...

Opinion: better or worse encounter format?

Speaking for myself, I would love to see more esoteric abilities given to Pathfinder NPCs. It's one of the strong points of Fourth Edition; and I think it would be a benefit to the Pathfinder to system to at least partially port over elements of it to NPC design. I definitely agree with you...

Opinion: better or worse encounter format?

In regard to the flavor text, after having fully read through both the fourth edition and Pathfinder versions; and prepared for my session on Saturday; I have a query for future adventures: Would it be possible to get some of the more descriptive and/or entertaining flavor test descriptions of...

A Rose In The Wind: A Saga of the Halmae -- Updated June 19, 2014

I know the feeling all too well. DnD Fourth, Shadowrun and, as of recently, Zeitgeist; the lengths that my players will go to in order to resolve situations non-violently is impressive! Not that I'm complaining! It's a lot more fun RPing the negotiations and skullduggery than it is a straight up...

The Dying Skyseer - release date?

Say, is there an ETA on the Pathfinder version? I really want to start my prep-work for my group's first session of Skyseer :D

What do your PCs do with prisoners?

In my DnD Fourth Campaign; they gave prisoners another chance. They let them go with a very strong warning to change their ways. Anybody who was caught fighting them a second time was executed; including a memorable occasion where the scion of a major mercantile house was hung from the neck on...
