One Eye takes a moment to shake off the delirium from all the weirdness so far, and as his vision begins to focus, he begins to spot movement in the fog. Bringing his Python to bear again, he swings into action, leaping to an adjacent table and unloading on the three closest guys with guns with...

You can say that again -- a few of them are already scared out of their minds courtesy of Sun Jin's Brain Shredder! And I just thought of something...didn't Edge choose Fox's Retreat as his fu schtick instead of Friend of Darkness, which would be a natural for situations like this? He may well...

Yeah, looks like Sun Jin's fog really threw a wrench in the game-plans of the gunbunnies on both sides. Brings to mind one of Murphy's Laws of Combat: tracers work both ways, as do smoke grenades, laser sights, and just about everything else. And I was expecting a John Woo-style shootout...

One Eye's good eye goes wide as the portal opens up. What in the hell is happening?! His attention, however, is immediately turned toward Tsou Tsung as he makes his attack on the lunatic (with a friggin' samurai sword, no less!) and immediately pays for it as another guy comes out of the portal...

One Eye was called in a week ago to handle the murder of a drug dealer who appeared to have OD'd on his own product. When he tracked down those responsible for giving the dealer the overdose, did they go peacefully? Hell no! They just had to pull their friggin' guns on him and force him to take...

And one more thing before we jump in... I've done some thinking about One Eye's Colt Python, and I've decided that it should really be a coming of age gift from his father, a gift that was originally meant for his older brother Johnny, but given to One Eye when Johnny turned to a life of crime...

So the only weapons she's got for the burger joint blowout are her combat knife, at least one of her MP5Ks, and a slap that means "lights out" for any mook who gives her trouble. Very nice. As for me, One Eye's going to be carrying Mr. Python and the Glock, and he's got the SPAS-12 shotgun in...

Checked out Tatjana. Definitely not a customer to mess with, especially considering she's Spetznaz (or whatever Russian Special Forces are called). One of the absolute cool things about the Russian military is that they know how to slap people and knock them right off their feet. I'm definitely...

Shouldn't be too hard to find, since Rogue's Gallery doesn't usually get a lot of action. It's still on the first page.

BTW, Radiant, we're still waiting on that ex-special-forces. So far we've got Edge (Someone), One Eye (myself), Sun Jin (Velmont) and Dennis (Rybaer), and I haven't seen your character in the Rogue's Gallery yet. One Eye and Sun Jin may need some backup for those really ugly shootouts, after all!

Except that Feng Shui isn't about Hollywood action flicks, but action flicks from Hong Kong. These movies range from Tsui Hark's wuxia flicks, John Woo's gunmetal melodramas, and lots of martial arts flicks (of which Jackie Chan and Jet Li are the most popular). The Killer was one of the...

Radiant brought up a good point in his last post about the theme of this game -- in other words, where do you guys want this game to go, and what kinds of things would you want to explore with your characters? I think One Eye's family (the cop family I mentioned earlier) is going to figure big...

Oh, so you're a Packer Backer too...nice! As for the brother-in-the-Triad business, well, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out -- what tipped me off right away was that he was secretive about exactly what he did for a living, despite being seriously successful. International...

That quote was from the movie Jeremiah Johnson. Here's mine: "I always leave one bullet, either for myself or for my enemy."

Checked out your character Rybaer, and I just had to grin -- especially at the visual of the clothes he usually wears. Interesting that Dennis Guffey comes from Wisconsin, as that's where I live (IRL) as well, and I like the little prophecy that ties in with the Secret War. Also, it looks like...

That's just fine with me. The only one out of the five who would know anything about the supernatural would be Sun Jin, being a magic cop AND a ghost, but the others (One Eye in particular) are going to have...interesting reactions to seeing a real live ghost for the first time.

Perhaps One Eye can give Sun Jin some lessons, though to be honest with you, he's going to need some time to get used to the fact that Sun Jin is a ghost -- he can handle himself in a shootout just fine, but he has absolutely no experience with the supernatural.

Let's see: we've got one definite gunbunny (played by myself), one definite martial artist (played by Someone), two guys that could go either way depending on how their players want to approach their characters, and one supernatural guy. I think we're pretty much ready to kick some butt.
