    Your Favorite Halfling?

Dark Sun's ravenous primitives narrowly beat out Eberron's dinosaur-wranglers for me. Belkar's also a fine choice, though! :D

New Dragon Ball and Full Metal Alchemist

From what I've heard, the new Fullmetal Alchemist series is a remake, of sorts -- a new adaptation of the original manga that sticks closer to its roots, where the original anime diverged in the second half.

[Recruiting] Awakening the Dreamers (3.5/Eberron/Book of Experimental Might)

Oh, I'm interested. I only have the regular ol' Book of Experimental Might, but I dig it. Fond as I am of Eberron's gods, I think I'd like to play a cleric, though I'm not sure what sort yet.

Help me identify old sci fi show

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, perhaps?

The Great Conjunction (RPG DESIGN CONTEST)

Allow me to ruin your lucky number of contestants by submitting my own... submission... thingy... My comrade Joseph Wilburforce and I, Matthew Woodward, will hopefully manage to get through the process of actually creating a system so we might present to you Saga, a game set in 10th-century...

    Could it be Cthulhu?

Aye, this is definitely shoggoths. Now, if you want Cthulhu, check out the Bloop.

STAR TREK by JJ Abrams - new photos

I think Umbran's point was that Shakespeare's works were often based on existing stories. Shakespeare's Hamlet or Othello or Romeo & Juliet are, basically, remakes of the earlier stories, legends, and plays about the same characters and events; you object to different takes on the same material...

So how many different game systems have you tried?

D&D (3e and 4e), Iron Heroes, Spycraft, Mutants & Masterminds, Call of Cthulhu (BRP), Vampire: The Requiem, Shadowrun, 7th Sea... Nowhere near as many as some others here, obviously. But so far I'm the only one who's played Best Friends. :D

    Changeling: The Lost - Interest

Later today, when I've more time to post, I'll try to have a more detailed character concept up, but I'll just note now that the character is a Farwalker Ogre.

    Changeling: The Lost - Interest

Changeling is my favorite of the NWoD games; I'd love to participate in a PbP game.

Tell me about your D&D group

I have two groups. We're all fairly young, and all students; most of us are undergrads, but we've got one one grad student and one high schooler. Most of us lack jobs and none of us possess anything I would describe as a "profession." I have been playing with group 1 for four or five years...

    M&M - Chosen (Recruiting Closed)

I think I am going to have to withdraw my application. The game sounds like it's going to be great, but, even ignoring some issues in my offline life, I just can't seem to create a character that really clicks for me, either in mechanics or in fluff. I wish you all luck with the game, though!

    M&M - Chosen (Recruiting Closed)

Well, if the recruitment isn't "first come, first serve," then I'd like to propose Jack Sullivan, a troubled young man, around eighteen years old and a likely high school dropout, who has developed pyrokinetic abilities (the Fire Control power, obviously). When I have more time, I'll flesh the...

    Stranded - The Lost Group

Malik's eyes widen in surprise at the sudden explosion of combat--the strangely-colored kobolds, his companions running, the appearance of giant crabs... But the boy quickly gets a grip on himself, and focuses his mind on the huge and very close crustaceans grabbing at his kobold companion...

What PC races are in your 4E group!

In my 4e Planescape game, I have one human (fan-made necromancer class), but no other PHB races. The other three players are all members of homebrew races: two nymphs (warlord and fey warlock) and one illithid (wizard).

    Stranded - The Lost Group

Although very alert at the beginning of the expedition, Malik's attention begins to drift after a while, the group having found nothing of interest thus far. Perception check: 1d20+1 = 11

    Stranded - The Lost Group

Malik has little need for weapons, yet he picks up a sizable piece of branch to use as a quarterstaff anyway -- not because he needs it to fight, but because he is simply too used to walking with a staff to go without. Malik bows his head in deference to the minotaur when he proposes leading...

    4E - Stranded [IC]

Malik's eyes widen in surprise as he is singled out by the captain for one of the scouting parties. "Me?" he says, quietly. But why not me? I am young, but I can still fight--I might be useful to them. I stood back and let them take charge, but I have a responsibility to help if I can, whether...

How well does ENWorld represent gamers at large?

Out of the sixteen people in the various gaming groups I have gathered online and offline since I started playing D&D, five -- myself included in both counts -- are registered ENWorld members. None of the others have visited ENWorld in many months, however.

    D&D 4E Favorite 4E classes(all)

I like most of the classes, but the warlock just drips delicious flavor. To make it even better, it's three types of delicious flavor: fireball-hurling diabolists, fey tricksters, and my personal favorite, cultists of the Great Old Ones. Even if other classes might be mechanically superior...
