[Hivemind]- Mary had a little lamb...

You don't have concentration problems, lass. See you wrote a long post of which I lost focus (not interest, there's a difference) already in the first paragraph. See that's concentration problems.

    Chill Touch Spell

It means you can use it 5 times. Each use requires a melee touch attack, although you can deliver it to 5 willing subjects as a full round action but that's highly unlikely to occur. I'm not entirely convinced that a spell from a wand is the same a casting it yourself as the description states...

    Cowering ????

Just as cold, damp, and windy as it always is. Actually that is true regardless of the particular season. Thank you for asking though.

    Cowering ????

Also note that cowing is also an effect of turning undead.

Fortitude Save DC Versus Massive Damage?

Yeah. I wouldn't recommend it either. If anything add one point for every 10 hps of damage exceeding 50 (or whatever is appropriate for the size if you use the size variant rule). Imagine at say level 15 you can survive a 100 hp hit easily but how are you going to survive the 65 DC fort save? A...

Fortitude Save DC Versus Massive Damage?

It's because you're looking in the wrong book. Massive damage isn't a variant rule so that in the PHB.

So I'm buying a new computer

All are problems that are extremly easily fixed. But I actually would recommend buying a new cheapo thang. I'm partial to AMD since I find that they are superior to Intel in every aspect. It shouldn't be too hard to find a neat PC running on Athlon, say 512 Mb RAM, at least 120 Gb HDD, and at...

Another Hurricane....where do enworlders evacuate to?

I pretty much exclusively reside at randomling's these days, since I don't have time to get into rules discussions anymore (new job). I also enjoy www.diyaudio.com but I guess you have to be a electronerd to get the humor that exists there.

[Hivemind]- Mary had a little lamb...

Well, according to an interveiw, Morten Andersen says that he definately not worse than last season, and perhaps even better. Considering that he scored 114 points last year, and have had 22 straight seasons of 100+ points, being the second most scoring NFL player of all times (needs 88 points...

Court rules that all samples must be licensed.

Sigil, IIRC 'I wanna hold your hand' was by the Beatles. Did they sell the rights? Oh, and btw, it really doesn't matter to a non-US citizen whatever the ruling says. We have our own copyright laws (which are in accordance to the international accepted laws) and no US court can change that or...

[Hivemind]- Mary had a little lamb...

While on the subject, I've changed from being a split Chiefs/Vikings fan to a pure Viking after fellow dane Morten Andersen got sacked in Chiefs and subsequently hired by Vikings. Actually strange that Chiefs would sack a living legend *shakes head* but now I don't have to split my sympathies...

    Euro 2004 Football discussion

I think not. Urs Meier was fantastically unbiased, a great game on his part. It is you who's biased. I would love to have him ref' the final. Besides IIRC it wasn't a free kick he judged, it was offside on both Terry and Campell.

You mean the Portugal goal in overtime right? yeah, that was in! Definately! All in all a good match and with the right winner. Well, a winner is basically always right, right?

Yeah, I predicted Denamrk and Sweden to go through already in the very first reply to this thread. :) *big freaking smilie* :) Yup, I got a good return on my investment there. Anyone who saw the game, including Italian journalists, got to admit that there could be no possible talk about a...

    Euro 2004 Football discussion

Sooo .. Denmark-Sweden. I betting on a 2-2 draw, not because of a big scandinavian comspiracy but because Denmark needs to win and Sweden needs to draw, so if it is half-way through 2nd half and the score is 2-2 I doubt either coach (or coaches in Swedens case) will take out 2 defenders to put 2...

    Euro 2004 Football discussion

I learned a few words in spanish today because I saw the match with two of my spanish friends. Appearantly the spanish coach is called puto, which is strange because I thought he his name was Saiz. :) I don't know why Spain thought they could play on a draw .. you can't expect to do that...
