I will more than likely be running the new Forgotten Realms setting and Eberron as well in 4e. In addition, I am just enthralled with the Midnight setting. It seems to have a lot of Tolkienesque influence but witha dark twist and I will be converting it into Castles & Crusades.

Actually, you do indeed add your Con mod to the # of Healing Surges you get per day. Read pg 103 of the PHB. I think you are referring to my value that is healed, in which case you are correct.
