I think it was probably a reference on one of RJ's jokes that some of his fans had threatened to do just that if he'd died before finishing the series. Still not the most appropriate thing for this thread, but since it was based on one of the deceased's own bits of humor, I doubt it was ment to...
Off screen. Much as with human vs human violence in Doctor Who, RTD seems to have some guidelines as to what can happen on-screen and what is implied off-screen.
As I recall, though I took a quick look and could not find a source to back this up, is that when Jessica Steen was hired, the producers had not decided that Weir would be a regular in Atlantis. When that came up, it was a problem because Jessica Steen was not interested in being a series...
I'd agree with that statement. Re-watching B5, there certainly seem to be moments when JMS is speaking rather than the individual character. Boxleitner seemed better at delivering it than Scoggins, though.
I have to say that while I do greatly enjoy how RTD writes individual scenes, his episodes overall are sort of...loose. Fully of plot holes, not internally consistentm etc. I do like him as a showrunner, as other people have mentioned, but I also agree that he should probably be writing fewer...
I would agree with those who have said that boredom is the key problem with Union.
When I think of an interesting high level place, ENWorld resident SHARK's world comes to mind. In the empire of Vallorea, every butcher on every street corner might be a fighter in the 20-30th level range, but...
Andreas Katsulas (G'kar) is also dead, which is why I believe Flexor excluded him. The only regular characters from Babylon 5 and Crusade who are in this edition of the Lost Tales are Sheridan, Lochley and Galen.
Speaking roles include a Priest (Father Cassidy), Lochley, a Security Guard, another station staff member/thing, a reporter, Sheridan, Galen, and Centauri Prince Regent Vintari. That would be all that come to mind.
I do agree with those who have said they'd prefer to wait for a quality adventure. We're having a ball playing through the campaign.
That said, since it is now late July, assuming Tears of the Burning Sky is still going to be out by month's end, are we still likely to get The Trial of Echoed...
Thanks for the offer, Edena, but I generally don't find the hypothetical scenarios in your threads to be very accurate to the topic at hand, so arguing them with one of my own isn't really conductive to discussion. I just thought some of the other posters might appreciate some context.
I'll...
So for instance, in the above case, the party's strategy would demand a number of house rules to work, as well as an extremely expensive scroll.
A second edition version of stone skin, attacking a stationary, much smaller target with stone skin cast being the equivilent of flying directly...
I think something to remember here is that following Edena's posts for a number of years, I don't think he's actually played 3E or 3.5 very much. Most of his discussions on rules, spells and such that I can recall always used 2E terms. When he uses terms like 'CR20' for a young dragon, I'm not...
Two adventures in, and I'm more concerned about finding or purchasing some pearls in order to Identify all the stuff we've been finding, before considering creation yet. Fantastic adventures though. :)
I feel somewhat envious. The CBC is listed as a partner on the show credits, so my tax dollars _are_ helping to finance it, but we still don't get it first run. ;) I'm glad series 3 has finally started here in Canada through. Series 2 took quite a bit longer.
Still, thanks to Morrus and the...
I really would prefer to not go over points that I feel he has made quite clearly over there, but my understanding is that the widespread nature of this is inconsistent with how Thrane and the Flame in general has been portrayed (though Thaliost in Five Nations is also discussed in this light)...
