I'd be surprised if they get a lot of flak for the cover. It's not outstanding, but it "gets the job done". While I like cover pics, the tome look is established and known for 3E.

Interesting... I would argue that the increases in the save DC and spell penetration should be more costly than they are officially... There are certainly issues with the epic spell system, but some are just misunderstandings (or errors in the sample spells. :D )

Are you sure about that? Remember that the order is: Factors, then multipliers, and then mitigating factors (Many of the Epic Spells are calculated wrong). Maybe you could post the math?

I doubt it. That would make the DR TOO easy to bypass, IMHO. (Mot that I have definite proof for that, mind you´- I just guess they would phrase it differently if it were an "or" condition) It could still be a seperate material, though.

I'd hope for a few nice bits on dragons. :D

I'm pretty sure that somewhere in the book, it is stated or at least implied that the increase should be 10%. Don't have the book in front of me at the moment, though...
