If it is a non-native outsider it goes back to its plane. I don't care how it got here. If you kill it on its plane it permanently dies.

I would hive full XP in that situation because they defeated them, whether or not they actually killed them.

I did this once when my chracters wanted to try to DM. They never asked again. They failed miserably. One totally switched the plotline and told us we screwed up doing something we never even did.

I love to use the domains that let you turn things other than undead. Like, the elements and the monn domain.(FR)

A level in Warmage lets you cast with no check penalty while in light armor. ANd when you get to a high enough level Epic Mage Armor

My absolute favorite thing to do is this: when the PCs are in a dungeon and about to do something ask a question Like "Which hand do you use?" or " Who wants to open the door?". Its also fun when the treasure is on the other side. I lkike the one with the pit fiend mentioned above.

Sorry, I didn't really think about how powerful other spellcasting classes were. I just didn't want the warlock to get too powerful. I think all of you are right. Without the at will the warlock would kind of suck.

I use the 3.0 FRC method. Give each character the same amount of XP as if everyone else was his level. That way the 20th with the three 1sts would get XP equal to 1/4 of how much XP 4 20ths would get for killing the wraiths.

You could take the hardness stats of a treant and lessen them.

I like the at will, but some of the more powerful invocations shouldn't really be at will. Utterdark Blast and other Eldritch affecting ones.

I agree. Half-elves have no Human side except for the anything favored class and half-orcs are big and stupid.

In FRC which I used which was mentioned above Ao is god of gods and has to allow a deity into being. Seeing as how it references deities sponsoring the divinity of others I have house rules that you either our sponsored(great for good characters) or kill the deity(great for evil characters)...

I think its in thr FRC or 3e I forget which, but there is a Belt of Holding that your familiar or animal companion fits in nicely. It doesn't need air, food or water while in there. It doesn't work for other animals though.

I tried that once and I found out that you can legally get more detailed maps of places like the Border Kingdoms but the only full Faerun map is so small I couldn't read it.
