What are the strictest interpretations of a paladin's code?

A wiki for the Wicket: Chivalry (Including the discussion page). You may also want to look at Bushido since the Chivalry article is a bit sparse for my tastes.

    All aboard the Leader-ship

Hit dice = class levels. Therefore, unless it's a very young dragon, he'll qualify anyway and then get a nice a charisma bonus.

AC 56 at level 6! You too can do it!

    It's okay, really. He's a quarter dwarf on his mother's side ...

    Looking for 2E --> 3E spell conversions

Going off the names since I have no idea what the spells do :heh: DuoDimensional Claw is a psionic power similar to Keen so perhaps Keen replaced Duo-Dimension? Spiritwall seems close to Create Living Wall. (CArc) Wall of Gloom seems similar to Wall of Fog. (CArc)

    All aboard the Leader-ship

I would go with character level. Effective Character Level isn't really a sum of levels. It's something added to a sum of levels. :D

    Cleave with Bonus Dice

Depends. Are the bonus dice for an attack or for a round? If you get +xdy to damage for the round, it applies to the cleave. If you get +xdy damage for the attack, then it does not apply to the cleave.

Clever Use of Prying Eyes Spell (Read a library?)

Gah. I was looking for that and and completely missed it. Guess I can't read a minute's worth of imaging in one round, let alone an hour's ... That said, if you were to take prying eyes literally and replay an hour of images in 6 seconds (1 round), the "replay" would have to convey the eyes'...

Clever Use of Prying Eyes Spell (Read a library?)

If I'm interpreting this correctly, you'll have the first 10 pages of every book memorized. :) Bob up and down when done with a book and spin when done with a page. (or reverse if bobbing is faster.) It seems to me that when you replay the images from the eyes, you'll need to have photographic...

    Question about Phantom Steed

I would guess either autofail or item rules. This rule is too obscure for me, smurf the Hyper one.

    Warforged ECL 0???? Yeah right!!!!

IceFractal, your post reminds me of old 2000AD (with Starlord!) comics when they ran Hammerstein's War memoirs. :) So, if the warforged jumps into the well to pull the lever at the bottom because he doesn't need to breath, how does he get back up? Seeing as he doesn't need to breath, the...

Which system for a Star Wars game?

I have to put in a vote for Star Wars using an adapted Parker Brothers Monopoly system ... Joking aside, the D6 system was clunky and the character effectiveness seemed to jump around (your stats improved xd6, xd6+1, xd6+2, x+1d6). d20 star wars has the odd levels thing but once you improve...

Is D&D magic purely Vancian? Let's settle this.

Hey, what about 'shatter'? "Your staff is broken!" You know, Gandalf seems to be a good guy who doesn't always follow the rules and possibly non-human heritage and can do his schtick pretty much all day but one at a time... Could he be a Chaotic Good Warlock? :D

Merciful Weapons, Torture, and rules ironies..

Except that provoking an attack of opportunity from the person you are interrogating is something of a faux pas amongst torturers.

    Question about Phantom Steed

Despite the specific usage of "creature", I would say it is a spell effect for most purposes. It has no feats and it is not immune to fatigue as much fatigue is not applicable. The designation of "creature" allows it to take move actions and even run, but "only" at x4 speed. Thus a 5th level...

    Reserve Feats for healers?

If we see any divine reserve feats, I doubt any will be healing related. I expect it to be more like blessings or smites and other religious conviction type effects. If there are any healing-type effects, I expect it to be bestowal of temporary hit points rather than actual healing.

    Help with a Warmage/Rogue Gestalt

Plus, you can move then add the skirmish damage to ranged attack spells (ie, scorching ray) on top of Edge. :)

    Warlocks...how do they play?

They also get a bonus to UMD for items they have the feats to create. ;) Plus, if I recall correctly, it's easier for an Artificer to build up the skill synergies. I don't recall the math, but I believe my wife's artificer at level 6 was "taking 1" on UMD checks ...

    Munchkinizing for movement rate

At higher levels you grab Monk's Tattoo from Forgotten Realms (3e, I think) which increases your monk level by +7 or +9 for AC, unarmed damage and movement. It might even stack with a monk's belt (which does not aid movement). If it's +9 levels, that's an effective +30 bonus to your movement...

AC 56 at level 6! You too can do it!

Note the difference between the Targeted and Area Dispel options. Targeted: "You automatically succeed on your dispel check against any spell that you cast yourself" Area: "You may choose to automatically succeed on dispel checks against any spell that you have cast." So, I guess, cast detect...
