Hoody Hoo!!!! I just got my shipping e-mail from Amazon. Right on time! They said they'd ship today and they did. No complaints from me! :)

My gift set is due to be shipped today. Still no e-mail from Amazon but I'll give them till COB today. Tomorrow I'll try to contact them if there is still no sign of a shipped package.

I don't have a whole lot of prep time anymore so I'm gladly switching to 4E. However, my 3.XE books will have a place of honor right next to my 1e and 2e books on my bookshelf. :)

I ordered mine on May 5th. I just checked my e-mail and still no notification but hopefully I'll see something by COB.

Mine still shows a June 10th ship date so we'll see what happens tomorrow. It is pretty much a bunch of crap. For the folks who pre-ordered they knew how many sets they needed to have on hand ahead of time to meet those orders. I don't have any pity for folks who ordered after the launch but...

PLEASE!!! That was my key gripe about 3.X Edition. In 2E I had all of the Wizards and Priests spell compendiums. The number of spells that 2E had totally blew away 3.X. I loved that the compendiums has spells that were helpful in the campaign sense but not necessarily in combat. Example...

Personally I think each hardcover book should have a download code in a sealed envelope on the inside cover that will allow a person who purchased a paper copy of the book to download the PDF for free. For those who don't want to purchase the paper copy but only want the PDF they could purchase...

How does something from 6pm to 10 or 11pm sound? I don't like to go too late myself as I'll be a zombie the next day. I'm not as young as I used to be and I've got a little guy who'll run me ragged if I am in zombie mode.

I beat the game playing a Human Fighter/Wizard/Cleric. I only took one level each of Wizard and Cleric so I could use all of the magic items in the game and still rock in melee. I'd suggest that combo to anyone.

I like the idea of the Necrons as a polar opposite and arch enemy of the Tyranids. With the Tyranids everything they have/use is living... every ship, weapon, round of ammunition. That said, the Necrons would take it upon themselves to eradicate every piece of Tyranid equipment and technology.

I think that is a strength of White Wolf. Don't worry so much about balance. If you want to play something... play it and don't worry about if some other PC is more powerful than you.

I'd play it! :) If I were running it once the PCs have played a significant portion of the campaign and feel all nice and cozy in their new homeworld I'd have a force of sleeping Necrons awaken and begin to stage a campaign of eradicating the living from the planet. Nothing would announce...
