We've GOT to play together! My sentiments exactly. Barring some version of D&D I'd want to play one of the new World of Darkness games. I love them all (especially Mage and Changeling) but finding a group to play it where I live seems an insurmountable task.

So, what if a Grognard is someone who thinks an older edition is superior and a fanboy thinks the new edition is superior what do you call someone who doesn't care what the system is as long as the game is fun to play?

Yep... I haven't bought a 3.X product since the official announcement of 4E. I'm not sure that my group wants to switch to 4E right off the bat though since we have been playing an Eberron campaign for the last several months and have only just made 5th level.

I'd like to see a setting where psionics don't seem to be added as an afterthought. However, I'd like it to be a european style fantasy setting too so Dark Sun doesn't quite cut it. I'd also like to see Al'Quadim back. :)

I never really had that problem with the White-Wolf system where many of the "Powers" last for a Scene. I'd probably treat it as such for non-combat uses of spells such as Bull's Strength.
