I do hope they will release the 2014 core books. It looks like the 2024 core rules will have significant overlap with the 2014 books. A lot of work spent on the 2014 books might carry over to the 2024 books? Additionally, there might be some folks who choose to not migrate to the 2024 rules...

i will probably see a lot in theaters this year, but Dune 2 and Deadpool 3 are the top two for me at this point.

I have not read the entire thread so maybe someone already mentioned this, but keep in mind that if a portion of the writing for a book is done, and not going to change, it can be printed separately. They know the layout and how much space each chapter is allotted. They can print signatures...

I voted for mix. I do still get a few books in physical format, but I am far more digital today for many reasons -- space, searchability, and zooming in to help aging eyes, etc. As I now play almost 100% online, digital also makes it easier for me to copy and paste stuff over into a virtual...

I do agree that if Reliant scanned the system they would have noticed a planet missing, but Khan says the orbit shifted, so it could be that Ceti Alpha V was where Ceti Alpha VI was expected to be, so they never scanned. Not sure what you mean here? The misidentification of Ceti Alpha V as Ceti Alpha VI is a plot point in the film.

Not to swerve over the "No Politics" line, but quick and dirty Googling says there are about 5.3 million Republicans in California, and about 5.3 million Democrats in Texas. So plenty of folks to find common political cause with in the other state.
