Zeitgeist OGC now live on D20PFSRD.com

Excellent! As a GM who uses the d20PFSRD religiously, this is a huge boon for when I finally run my Zeitgeist game! :)

Pathfinder 1E [Pathfinder] Question about requisitioning

I was planning on it, but I'm really waiting for Ultimate Combat to be released. Following GenCon I'll post a web-supplement that details more of converting PF firearms to fit Zeitgeist. :) That's the 'cunning plan' anyways...

Pathfinder 1E [Pathfinder] Question about requisitioning

Guns are a bit tricky... one of the benefits of playing a Gunslinger is that you get a gun at 1st level, which is one way of bypassing monetary requirements to get one. I'd likely waive the restriction if a PC chose the gunsmith theme feat, though technically they'd have to wait until later...

Pathfinder 1E [Pathfinder] Some class questions

One thought for summoners was to use them as a specialized Technologist. Basically, the Eidolon would represent a very advanced contraption that would act as companion to the 'summoner'. Spells could be various technological based abilities that the summoner uses.

Pathfinder 1E [Pathfinder] Looking for a replacement for theme feats

benfromidaho They are really neat in concept, though fairly hard to pull off mechanically. One thing about them is the player has to pick one and declare they are going after it at the start of the campaign. The D20 Pathfinder SRD has the Legacy ones listed. These feats vary in power /...

Pathfinder 1E [Pathfinder] Looking for a replacement for theme feats

Yeah, basically they're free feats you get over the course of a campaign. "Accomplish X, get Y" They had them in the Legacy of Fire AP and some of them were pretty powerful. Heal 1000hp (but damage lowers the total at 1:2 ratio), but after making it, all your healing is maximized. Stuff like...

Pathfinder 1E error in the the Pathfinder Zeitgeist player's guide?

*twitch* I know we should have caught those! I went through with finding all the listed terms above... and I KNOW that Morrus noticed that sneaky gold teleporty bit. *grumble*

Pathfinder 1E [Pathfinder] Looking for a replacement for theme feats

HA! On that note, I was very tempted to trick Ryan into letting me put in some Achievement Feats.

    The Campaign Guide is here!

I'm with you on this one! As I said, we'll be fairly straightforward in saying; "Level the PCs at this point" if it's needed during an adventure. Otherwise it will be assumed they level at the end of the adventure.

Pathfinder 1E [Pathfinder] Looking for a replacement for theme feats

Naw, nothing too game breaking here, most of these are fairly in line with other traits. The only one that might be 'high' would be the Skyseer as Speak with Dead is a higher level spell. That's why I gave the target a bonus to saves and restricted it to one question. As with most typical...

Pathfinder 1E [Pathfinder] Looking for a replacement for theme feats

Shisumo I very much get the desire to use campaign traits for the AP. Originally I had wanted to put them in, but Ryan convinced me of the awesome-ness of giving the PCs a bit more to start with. That being said, I love your thoughts for campaign traits and decided to follow-up with some of my...

BAH! I was writing the reply already ;)

Pathfinder 1E [Pathfinder] Looking for a replacement for theme feats

I can understand that the theme feats won't appeal to some players/GMs out there as they're something new. I'll warn you that these feats are called on a lot in the campaign, and there are points where PCs with specific theme feats (or the 4e equivalent) gain bonuses or additional information...

    The Campaign Guide is here!

We went the route of having leveling points included in the adventures. Depending on the adventure, these points will occur once or twice during the module. GMs can feel free to hand out XP based on their own interpretation of the adventure, but the mechanical balancing of 4e Vs. PF (20 lvls...

    The Campaign Guide is here!

For the PF version we're assuming 4-5 PCs as per standard adventures. PF XP breaks are strange in that it assumes a party of 4-5 base and then modifies challenges for groups of 6+ and 3 or less. That being said, I would suggest sticking with 5 PCs as some of the encounters might be dicey...

    9000 Downloads!

I know it may sound cliché to say this, but... "IT'S OVER 9000!!!!" Seriously though, it's great to hear that Zeitgeist has been so well received!

    ZEITGEIST Thoughts on Zeitgeist

As a side note, it is my understanding that while Flint is a large part of the campaign, there aren't an overwhelming number of 'urban' adventures. I believe that the second adventure would be considered the urban adventure in the series, with the others having sections set within Flint and...

    A few battlemap previews

I think it's a fantastic way of demonstrating heights. It will be useful to most GMs, especially for ranged combat (*cough* guns *cough*. Height is fairly important when determining cover and range, so these maps fit the bill quite nicely!

ZEITGEIST Preview: The Skyseer Theme (4E & PFRPG)

The point behind the mechanic is likely to give the player foresight into the effectiveness of your action. Thus, if you know that your next roll with ability X is going to be a 1, you'll likely try out a different ability. It also means that you can plan on when to use up your 'bad roll' and...
