Robot Chicken, guest starring Mark Hamill

It'll repeat Thursday night since Fullmetal Alchemist also repeats then.

    Spider-Man 3 Villain

How bout this for an James Bond-ish opener / movie? The Scorpion vs Spiderman! Naturally Scorpy fails miserably to thwack Spidey. However, JJJ didn't sponsor the project that created him (like the comics) but Harry Osborn! In frustration, he hires other mercs like Jack O'Lantern / Hobgoblin or...

    Iron Lore: Malhavoc's Surprise?

Well here's a few ideas to deal with Elmer Fudd: A fantasy version of the Fastball Special (a former staple of X-Men comics) Called shots to the dragon's wing(s) forcing it to land (remember Council of Wyrms and their dragonslayers?) Massive crossbows / ballista / harpoons could impale the...

    Lend me your imaginations!

How about The People's Champion? However all speech will be done in third person.

[Grim Tales] Help me write an adventure

Do you use templates for critters? I noticed you mention their use near the beginning of the CC chapter but given the guidelines laid out, they might not even be needed. Just curious. Oh, another site for possible villains: The Vril Society

[Grim Tales] Help me write an adventure

Return to Thread Wulfenstein Quick question for Doctor Wulf-enstein. :] How'd you create your versions of the LXG? Vanilla GT, use of templates or what?

[Bad Axe Games] Looking for an evangelist or three...

Well I was kinda holding out for a d20 Dragonball Z game using the Grim Tales rules for a true "Dragonball GT" RPG. :p That and life size working Apparatus of Kwalish to play with.

Call of Cthulhu d20 Preservation Society

Yup, topping that will be tougher than a $2 steak. OK, maybe I watch too much wrasslin' since that's at least 3 threads where I've used a Jim Ross (WWE commentator) saying and managed to get 'slobberknocker' into my gaming group's vocabulary.

[Grim Tales] Help me write an adventure

One of the things I liked about the Chaosium Call of Cthulhu was the timeline that went with it since it had all sorts of goodies, mostly with a Lovecraftian twist. 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' happened in the late 19th - early 20th Century IIRC. What if the underground people wanted to...

[Grim Tales] Help me write an adventure

Well if you're willing to use another Wells character (the time traveller), the League might've been brought to the Tunguska event to prevent something worse from happening. So... A group of Russians (maybe led by a future monk from Siberia named Rasputin?) unearths alien technology (a Martian...

    The Problem with Star Wars

There is also the uh.. 'cut' line from EpIII (first seen in someone's sig): "Hello. My name is Boba Fett. You killed my father. Prepare to die." But I'm fond of: You call this a diplomatic solution? (Anakin) No, I call it an aggressive negotiation. (Padme)

[Grim Tales] Help me write an adventure

How about using Tunguska? It was the result of an experimental weapon, device or whatever McGuffin you want. When both sides find out, its a race to capture it and if need be, destroy it. Jack the Ripper / cattle mutilations. Perhaps the murderer is actually 'serial' clones (like Paranoia)...

[Grim Tales] Help me write an adventure

Well I once had an idea involving a clown who used funhouse mirrors to deform others so the clown would become more 'beautiful' in a twisted version of The Ugly Duckling. How about a new version of The Thing (John Carpenter not Benjamin J. Grimm)? Toss in some X-Files-ian 'worms from beneath...

    anyone interested in d20 sports?

Well it'd be a cheaper alternative to Blood Bowl since there's a few other teams that are non Games Workshop like the Bunnies (sorta like Playboy Bunnies) and the Nuns (definitely need the Hail Mary Pass). It should also help with balance between the races (orcs vs wood elves for example).

Miyazaki's Nausicaa, Porco Rosso, and The Cat Returns on DVD

Another version of 'My Neighbor Totoro'? I remember Fox (Kids?) releasing it awhile back (early 90's I think) that had a free Totoro giveaway. I remember it because I *ahem* actually have one. :o Miyazaki had a hand in the Rupan Sansei / Lupin III / Wolf series (there's been at least 2)...

    I hate cat-people, dog-people, lion-people, etc

Nah, but it could be a witch. Anyone get turned into a newt? Had to raise another pet peeve among gamers. As for anthromorphs, I'm especially fond of Stan Sakai's work (ooo. Usagi done like Jack / Clone Wars) as well as Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird's (hold the 'cowabunga'). I had considered...

    Great Foot Chase Scenes?

Spike chasing the 'funky' guy chasing Ein in one of the early episodes of Cowboy Bebop. Riggs chasing after the Chinese delivery guy in the last Lethal Weapon movie. I know there's more than a few Jackie Chan one's I like such as one in Project A where Jackie and someone else are handcuffed...

Trying to recreate the Tanctanese from the movie/series Alien Nation...

Just have it so they become enraged like the Barbarian class ability or otherwise similar to a boar's special ability. Hmm. Since they were originally bred as a slave race, definitely some stat boosts (str and con) but the will power suffered while their self worth isn't too high (wis and chr...

Coolest, Most Heroic, and Stupidest Heroes of all time...

Hmm. Coolest: Agent Paper from "Read Or Die". The girl is a rather mousy librarian but give her some paper and she can stop bullets, make a hugemongous paper airplane, use a roll of money to sword fight against a samurai with a 'light saber', etc. Most Heroic: I'd have to second ObiWan Kenobi...

I stole my encounter from a Stargate episode and my players liked it

There was also a Xena episode, I think titled "Been There, Done That."
