Nice strawman, but that isn't the same thing. HP recovered and damage prevented occupy two different spaces in the absolute economy of the party, though I can understand how some might think otherwise.
The latter was my suspicion, considering that all three of the articles that did get published went up at the same time (which I know thanks to the twitterbot that advertises new article postings).
Wow, what?
Just because you feel like it was a more valuable use of Disruptive Strike (et al) to wait until it saves someone who's near death doesn't actually make it more valuable.
If the net difference is 10 hp, then you've saved 10 hp, no matter when you use it. And before anyone brings up...
Which is still pretty silly to me since this whole game is about imagination and fantasy, meaning the rules are what you make of them, full stop.
But it's a fair point.
So houserule it? Power sources aren't exactly a fine art, they're thematic components. Also, I don't really understand why WIS being primary matters at all since Avengers have "spells" like anybody else and can fling them around just as readily. Go Retributive Avenger and take WIS/INT if you're...
Well, the numbers are obviously publishing dates, and there are 4 image parts left; odds are good that the full page link then will be http://www.wizards.com/dnd/Article.aspx?x=dnd/4dnd/2011050?
With the last digit being a 5 or a 6, depending on whether they decide to push it on Thursday or Friday.
Er, what? Battleragers don't stack THP either, they just get a lot of them.
Despite what the CB and Compendium may say, they do not currently incorporate a lot of what is in the Rules Compendium (even when they specifically quote it).
This is kind of disappointing, I expected them to get more clever about where they put them.
Although the filename is interesting on this one: seeyounextweek.jpg
Edit: Gah, beaten by a Canadian! NEMESIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!
Update it, I had issues too on the day of the CB update and assumed that was the reason, but I also updated my android apps between then and now. It works perfectly now.
