Pathfinder 1E Paizo's Ultimate Equipment book...

Well, it has new stuff in it, but also the old stuff. I suppose to be ultimate it has to include everything, though I don't know if it really is everything. What about all the stuff scattered in Guides and Pathfinder modules, etc? Is that in there? Our sandbox DM has a copy and the wizard...

    Wil Wheaton's TABELETOP #13: Wits & Wagers

I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but I didn't recognize Wits & Wagers at first. Then I saw the box which says Family Edition. One of my friends mentioned the differences between the regular and Family edition, but I don't remember at the moment. It is one of the games we sometimes close...

How to consolidate a 4e and a Pathfinder game?

I've been playing in a Saturday group that plays Pathfinder 2 weeks and then Warhammer the next 2 weeks. We had 2 DM's who wanted to do different things. It isn't working for me. The break between means having awkward breaks in the action, plus I'm figuring out I'm not a huge fan of Warhammer...

Pathfinder 1E List any Pathfinder blogs you know!

The only one I follow is the one for our game, except that we don't update it anymore. Well, the DM doesn't. He tried getting us to write up a after action reports, but we didn't and now he doesn't either. Maybe we'll try on our next session. Fate of Tara But just with some creative...

Does anyone play Palladium Fantasy Rpg

I actually like the mechanics being so easily manipulated, except when they go overboard and get gonzo. In other words, if you want to make a cool magic sword for your players, no problem. The trick is not making it an artifact and kill everyone's fun. If there is a formal system for...

    Cool battle map/terrain set-ups

Specifically this was a lighthouse we investigated, but depending on how creative the DM is feeling we sometimes get Dwarven Forge or map tiles, or other stuff. Scrapbook

Pathfinder 1E If you want High Dex melee -and- a choice in weapons, you're asking for WAY to much

The scorpion whip does lethal damage, but I forget which book it is in. Are there any feats in Pathfinder that increase the damage a Finesse/Dex warrior can use to bump up their damage? Our ranger decided to go the two weapon fighting route and he sucks but nobody seems willing to admit it.

Pathfinder 1E Weekly game cancelled - entertaining myself with Haunting of Harrowstone analysis

We are still playing and successfully defended Frank but I'm not going to continue with this thread. To sum up our last 3 sessions it goes like this: 1. We end up going to the castle, except for my character who stays in town for 1 day to craft a magic item. I was present at the session but...

    Pathfinder 1E Best Adventure Path?

Yeah my original post was longer but I realized I was venting about one of the groups I play with so I cut that text. I'd have reservations about playing had I known what I know now. From reviewing the links about threads on the best AP I see I've already posted in at least one of those...

    Pathfinder 1E Best Adventure Path?

I wanna vote but I have not played all these. Nor have I read them all. I think it is important to know how your group plays together and what issues you might discover. Not only personality wise but who likes to play what kind of game, railroad versus sandbox.

Pathfinder 1E Would you allow a plant in a pot to be used for Entangle?

My gut reaction was that I wouldn't bother with rolling to hit the square, but now I'm more inclined to have that work because I'm also thinking the area of effect should be more limited. For what it's worth I've heard of this before, back in the 2E days I think and I've mentioned it to one of...

    D&D 3.x Eliminated magic items from D&D 3.5

It's now strand of prayer beads.

You experience on combining rules from different editions

It makes for sometimes non-conversations or half-truisms. You see, I play in such a game now, but I'm the only one who knows this. The people I play with on Wednesdays are old friends who've all played previous editions of DnD. They call it Pathfinder, but they add weird rules like "attacking...

    Nauseated flanking

Everything Traveon pointed out I've seen before. It is part of why I asked -because the whole "threatened" business is under the Attack of Opportunity subheader and thus not explicitly linked to Flanking. You would think the word "threaten" appearing in the text about flanking would be enough...

    Olympics: Who is watching?

The geek in me long ago defeated the sports enthusiast, but for some reason the Olympics I like to watch. Always like the opening ceremony and I try to watch the less televised sports like archery, fencing, etc.

    Nauseated flanking

In our game Sunday most of our party ran away from an encounter in which they failed Fort saves and got nauseated and/or we discovered we were in a wild magic zone and 4 of our 6 characters are magic oriented. So my summoner's eidolon, which also failed the Fort save and so was nauseated was...

    A few noobish questions, PF

That is for buying them on the open market. You can create them for half of that cost. I bring this up because the poster mentioned the Craft Wand feat.

New to Pathfinder and I need help with Aldori Swordlord build

Completely off topic, when I read Aldori for some reason I think of Sador of the Malmori.

    California game shops

Endgame may be out of your way, and the other place I was going to recommend being Black Diamond Games. Both require detours across the SF Bay into the East Bay. In SF itself I would say Gamescape. I haven't been inside for some years, so maybe it has changed, but I'd assume another poster...
