We're due, IMO. And a slow reveal setting doesn't quite cut it for me (see: PoL). That may work for a novel, but an RPG is a different animal entirely.

I'll echo Brehobit and say "Just two." Much like how things that change how your AC is calculated don't stack, the same goes for attacks. So you could take your two attacks from the Fighter's Extra Attack feature, or the two attacks from the Warlock feature, but the two don't play together.

I like this. I hadn't thought of using regional effects to simulate more than changes to the environment.

On the contrary. The monk's bonus unarmed strike is distinct from two-weapon fighting. There's nothing in the rules that state you shouldn't add your ability modifier, unlike two-weapon fighting which explicitly calls it out.
