People post stats from roleplaying games all the time. Its virtually impossible not to on a messageboard like this. For example, Elminister has an AC of 31 in the Epic Level Handbook. I didnt break any copyright laws for mentioning that, and people post simple stats like that all the time...

There is only one set of stats that count for Orcus: the BoVD stats. All the other versions are either outdated, or were never official in the first place. I know a few people reading these messageboards have the BoVD, so what is the official spell resistance for the official Orcus?

Here are two more questions for anyone who owns the BoVD: 1. Is the wand of Orcus actually a wand, or a heavy mace? This has many ramifications. If its a wand, then wizards can swing it normally. If it is a mace, then you would have to have the appropriate weapon proficiencies to swing it...

Hey Darkness, I have been posting on that official messageboard thread for two days now. I started the same question here, because sometimes this messageboard is busier than the General messageboards at WOTC, and I find the posters on this messageboard to be slightly more mature and informative.

Anyone care to post the official Spell Resistance for Orcus? I could also use his hit points, and Armor class, but its really his spell resistance that I need the most.

I think Tracy Hickman was drunk when he wrote that. Honestly. His little diatribe is poorly written and lacks the required proof necessary to convince anyone that he is right. I truly believe he was half in the bag.

I agree. The names Jeff Grubb and Monte Cook mean something to the hard-core, internet savvy players, but to most players, they are meaningless. The books with good art, good production values, lots of crunchy stuff (rules, prestige classes, magic items, monsters, etc..) are what sell.
