    dwarf as a class

Dragonborn as a race/class would work just as well, but then again I've DMed some *serious* Dragonborn fans.

How necessary it is to have interrupting actions in the game?

Last week I would have voted "Yes", but after 5 days of playing an ultra-stripped down retro-clone with my nephews? Don't need them if you are able to narrate combat creatively (and collaboratively).

Monsters that have been degraded over time that need fixing

Okay, I'll start. They look AWESOME.

    In Defense Of: +X items

+X items are as iconic as ability scores and your mom's basement. Perhaps throwing out "stacking" would help keep them from getting out of hand. edit sorta like the post above implied

    D&D 5E (2014) Iconics in 5E

    Morgan Ironwolf on Facebook.

Open book, play Gimli. As a quick intro to D&D, one could do much worse.

    No More Reptiles with Boobs!

My cost:benefit analysis concludes it would be better to have the option available at launch instead of forcing dragonborn lovers to wait for a supplement. After all (and you *knew* this was coming) it's trivial to exclude them if they aren't to your liking.

D&D 5E (2014) Martial, Magic or Mundane? What can X do in 5e

Wow, am I the only one who enjoys characters who feel like they stepped out of legend? Turnabout being fair play, this is where I tell myself that nobody is coming to take my 4e books away.

be careful what you wish for . . . ;)

    Class Balance - why?

I believe it should be the *default* setting, following the assumption that it is generally easier to break something than create it.

I immediately looked for boobs. aaaand that's enough internet for one day.

The Treasure of Treasures - and the Richness thereof

Even as a 4e fanboy, I admit to missing the 2e days when magic items were weird and (most importantly) not necessary to make the characters work. That's not to say I want to see another multi-volume set of magic item books. Awesome as they were.

    No More Reptiles with Boobs!

Oh THIS. I love the concept of Dragonborn, and they will be available in every D&D game I run. But oh the art design. Dreadlocks, really?

Monsters that have been degraded over time that need fixing

Green Slime can't move, think, or in any way act upon its environment. It simply damages you if you blunder into it. Any creature you can completely nullify by taking a 5-foot step away from is a trap (or hazard).

    Making Magic Magical Again?

What about when your *single* magical power does less damage than the arrows the archer is throwing every single round?

    Lethality: I don't know what I want

To be fair, my wizard died during my second session ever (lol 1d4 hp) *and* the DM made me leave his house afterward! I still stuck around for the next 33 years. (and this is coming from a DM who hasn't had a character die without player consent inover a decade)

    Hit Point style preference

Plot Immunity all the way for me. We play D&D to live heroic/legendary fiction: Cú Chulainn, Drizzt, Conan, Elric, et al. We understand that not everyone has the same tastes, of course. But that's our preferred style (and it will be in 5th, regardless of what the mega-committee comes up with)

"You must spread some Experience Points around before giving it to GMforPowergamers again." Dammit, stop sucking up all my xp!

D&D 5E (2014) Skills in 5E. Do we want them?

My pie in the sky: No skills lists (except rogueish classes*). If the PC tries something like tying a sheepshank or fashioning arrows in the woods, then assign a target number and have them roll stat mod + level vs. DM assigned target number. The DM would take the character's history into...
