    Wands of Cure Light? Bah!

I don't see the problem with the summoning, I see a problem with that dagger. Change it into something similar to the reserve healing feat (heals up to half hitpoints) or let it grant a few temporary hitpoints, and you're fine.

    Front-liners

Minotaur barbarian with 4 fighter levels and the draconic heritage feats. Dishing out enough damage that most melee monsters will think twice before they start to exchange full attack actions.

    The Infamous Spiked Chain Madness

Try a Psychic warrior with Expansion... even more size and you can do everything by yourself. And hitting isn't a problem for spiked chain dudes as mentioned above.

    Playing a bard

And I disagree with everyone who says that ranged attacks aren't a bards niche. I would agree without the Bow of songs... but with Cha to hit and damage and Inspire Courage to hit and damage a bard can easily outmatch most other archer builds (as long as he's not running out of Bardic music uses).

    Playing a bard

Strong melee bard build: Take a polearm and one level barbarian. Strength 18 at level 1 is great, Cha doesn't have to be that good. You need Extra Rage, Power Attack and perhaps Combat Reflexes till level 6. Stay close to the party cleric and use group buffs. Such a bard killed a campaign...

    Playing a bard

Yeah, I prefer hitpoints and Rapid Shot at level 3 with a good +2 or +3 from Inspire Courage. We happen to enjoy low level games and that one level of warblade helps you survive almost everything.

    Playing a bard

Ranged bards.... with Xbows????? NAAAAAAAH! That might be ok if you play some pretty small race with huge Dex bonus and Crossbow Sniper. But the bard for real men... at least real men who want to do real archery... uses a composite longbow with Str at least at 16. Dex isn't that important...

    Help me name my blade

I like "Fetch and the Bad Penny" sooo much. I'll yoink it for the next campaign and make it a pair of returning daggers... one cursed and the other one lucky. I'll need to come up with a real funny curse now!

    Swift Hunter-like feats and Gestalt

Hmm. Scout2/Barbarian2 gestalt... fastest way to Improved Uncanny Dodge? Never.

    Can Arcane Sight see invisibility

Right. But you can always see the lingering auras where we was.

    Making a cleric/rogue

If you don't mind the lack of Turn Undead... have a look at the daggerspell shaper. A real great divine roguish class with good skills, strong fighting, spellcasting and last but not least: you can start as scout too... I prefer skirmish to sneak attack (POUNCE!).

    Help me name my blade

Fetch and the Bad Penny are my favorites here :D

    Command Undead vs. Turning

Typical D&D case: the best necromancer is the evil cleric.

Arcane Channelling on Full Attack (Duskblade)

Scout/Ranger with Swift Hunter and GrManyshot shoots four arrows plus a move action every round for 4d8+4*(str mod+enhancement bonus)+28d6 skirmish damage. Add some magic items or other feats and you'll get even more... without spending spells.

    Multiclass bard/favored soul

Hmm, you'd have to combine the divine bard with the prestige bard: http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/prestigiousCharacterClasses.htm#prestigeBard It would enhance the Favored Souls Spellcasting a bit while giving up the bard spellcasting. Not sure if it would be that great.

    Multiclass bard/favored soul

Yoinked summary, Mistwell. There's that Favored Soul alternate class feature somewhere which gives temporary hitpoints when you cast spells on someone... that might help with the hitpoints if you buff yourself. Does it work with Close Wounds? What about a Favored Soul/Divine Bard prestige...

    Multiclass bard/favored soul

Scrap Favored Soul. Go Scout1/Druid4/Bard1/Green Whisperer2/Bladesinger2 and then 10 levels Fochlucan Lyrist. Don't forget the Swift Avenger feat. You'll have druid spellcasting, bardic music, good BAB and very good skills.

    Order of the Stick 552!

That's why I never wash my hair if I'm going to wear chainmail anytime soon. Dirty hair doesn't stick to the links.
