    Strange and not according to the usual stacking rules but I agree... the distance enchantment does not grant a bonus to the range.

    Bard paladin is great because with maxxed Inspire you can go Power Attacking and keep up with other bashers for damage output.

    That's why you should be a gnome or halfling on a spider. Anywhere where other players can go, you can. While walking on the ceiling and stabbing downwards with your lance. Any char too powerful will be turned into a gnome? Strange rule, some of the most powerful chars in the last few campaigns...

    That spear build looks nice. Combine it with a level monk, that ascetic stalker for monk/ninja multiclassing and then get that Eberron feat that let's you flurry with a spear... Flurrying with a twohanded weapon and Power Attack... :rant: Edit: Would this build be possible with that...

    If I would have to houserulebuild that char, I would allow feats for int and cha bonus to damage (under certain circumstances, otherwise it might be sick). With enough damage and Great Cleave... and that Feat Rapid Assault from the Bo9S (extra damage in the first round), you are good to go.

    We use the marshal class with fighter BAB... and the MiniHB sees a lot of use in my games :)

    Fireballs aren't that bad. Put one empty space between neighbouring clovers, give the bard the Antimage feat (Kalamar Players Guide) and a wand of Dispel Magic... ;) But even without that, those hobgoblins with dex+2 and con+2 have a lot of hitpoints, e.g. two fireballs won't kill them usually...

    Some new ideas... you have some pally levels. What about Devoted Performer, bards songs, Bow of songs and Divine Might? You'll get twice your Cha bonus plus bard song (+5 or +6) to damage, and Cha bonus plus bard song to hit. Rapid Shot is a must, haste items too. Since you're multiclassed...

    Armor classification

    Since medium armors are soooo weak... except for mithral breastplates... I houseruled the whole thing a little bit. DR 2/- to medium and heavy armors. And I removed some armor proficiencies from some classes.

    Shadowbane stalker. Nearly full cleric casting and sneak attack plus skills.

    Swift Hunter vs Fortification

    I'd say the same as Runestar. The swift hunter ability is pretty strong and bordering on the broken side of the rules, but if I allow it at all there's no reason why it shouldn't apply to any resistance or immunity to precision damage.

    SA-Dmg Against Rogue/Flying Boots

    You can SA a "feinted" opponent just as you can do it with a stunned one... or helpless. Uncanny Dodge is rather restrictive. And if flying is dispelled, you float slowly to the ground just as you would if the spell Fly ends.

    You're right, I should have voted bard too... still nearly all of my builds have one or two barbarian dips... and ranger dips... or scout or rogue dips... ... and all these multiclass crimes act pretty much like bards.
