I think it has more to do with the clause against redefining terms, which includes the (non-existent) classes in question. There's nothing to define the term yet, so it's all good now. Once those come out... well, cross that bridge then.

Another vote here for the Dark Providence adventures as freebies that are invaluable. If you'll be at Gen Con, try to get into a game so you can play it and get a hands-on feel for the game.

There's already the Savage World official licensed book. If anything, I expect that film to help all these games, not only the SK one.

Nope, using the OGL as Goodman did and as I'm describing is definitely NOT going copyright. By using the OGL and OGC as your source for the description of the material you are well within your legal rights as an user of the OGL. The OGL does not demand that the values assigned to the OGC terms...

Actually, that is not necessrily the case. By going copyright, as it seems they are doing, they can release for any system, including 3.X without the OGL.
