What do you do when you run out of stories to tell?

It's funny, but this sort of thing is one of the side-effect uses we hear most often for the product we created. We made a way to create an adventure for one night's gaming primarily for the nights when you just didn't have time to plan and don't feel like improvising. But we've heard a lot of...

You've asked a lot of really good questions, and I want to take time to answer. But it's after midnight here, and my brain is a little fuzzy, so I hope you'll excuse the delay. I will definitely give a full response tomorrow. The quick answer is "one per sponsor so no one can buy the...

The location has not been chosen - it will be decided by the supporters of the museum. The four locations currently expected to be on the list are: Lake Geneva, WI: Where it all started, and where many of the artists and game designers who worked for TSR still reside. This area is rich with...

Good point. The wording on this will be changing, as it was definitely always going to be a very nice, hand-calligraphied, personalized scroll, suitable for framing. Sometimes, we know what we're talking about, and it just doesn't carry across well. :o Jim and Debbie Hunton Curators, Museum of...

Hey, we're open to ideas. The perks can be edited and added to along the way. :) And don't forget, the book will list the name of every backer, and the artwork will be specifically signed thanking you for supporting the museum. So, although you might be able to get those later (or through other...

But, it’s an hour and a half from Chicago, an hour from Milwaukee, and gamers from as far away as Minneapolis and even Indianapolis could make a day trip of a visit to the museum. There are positives and negatives to each location, and we’re just trying to make sure that everyone sees all sides…...

Nor would we expect you to recognize our names. We are not all that active in the online gaming communities, but have regularly run D&D games at conventions for the RPGA (DDXP, Origins, GenCon, even New York ComicCon), and run games at our local stores. We have played D&D from the original, up...

I’m sorry that it seems that way. Our research (and advisors) said that it was important to not to be too verbose on the pledge page. We would be happy to answer any questions you might have. As it says on the funding page, the initial collection is valued at approximately one-quarter of a...

Where would you put a D&D museum?

About the only place it could realistically go is back to Milwaukee, although there are a few other cities that have large enough convention facilities - think SanDiego (ComicCon), Atlanta (Dragon*Con), Orlando (MegaCon), etc.

    Anyone Have Levels for Terrain?

Well, it wasn't part of a campaign, so less of an issue, but still a good thought. The GM actually said that the characters would have heard stories about the pits in the beholder's lair, so we could have been better prepared, or avoided it entirely. And he also said that the crevasses would...
