    Grim Tales Character Generator

That's about what I suspected, but I wanted to offer. Thanks for all your work. I think there are a lot of us looking forward to it! I hope you meant XHTML and CSS. But whatever. Once it's in an SRD, we all can display it using whatever tech we want. Thanks again.

    Grim Tales Character Generator

BTW, I've been meaning to ask. Is there anything we can do to help with the SRD effort? I have some coding skills and "boring data entry" skills. If I can chip in let me know. I know that often it's more of a hassle than a help to try and coordinate such assistance for a project of this size...

    Grim Tales Magic implementation

Henry, I asked a similar question on another thread (http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=154007) and was pointed, by Old One, to a thread that seems to answer my questions (http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=122908). Now I just need to get home and read it. :) Also, Old One mentioned...

[Grim Tales] Converting outside classes to a series of Talents

Thank you! This is perfect. I haven't read it all yet, I'm at work, but it looks to hit all the points. Thanks again! If I have to beg, I will! Henry, if you read this, and you don't mind, I would greatly appreciate a copy. Henry's file is here...

Henry, any chance you have attempted to integrate BC magic with the rest of GT. If so, care to outline what you did? ;)

[Grim Tales] Converting outside classes to a series of Talents

black company magic with GT My group and I are also starting a campaign that is attempting to blend Grim Tales with the Black Company. Really, we want just GT with the BC magic system. It seems like such a combination would fit the campaign world rather well. Would you (Tormenet) mind...

Blatant abuse of the five foot step?

The rules could be read to say that you can do three thinks: jump, slip, or fall. Also the sentence is only telling you what happens when someone jumps instead of doing X. That in no way means that doing X is the only other possibility.

Effect of axial tilt on a planet

Would rings have the same stabilizing affect?

Effect of axial tilt on a planet

So let me see if I've got some of this straight. If you have a planet with no tilt (the poles are perfectly perpendicular to the plane of orbit), you would have the following: 1. No seasons to speak of 2. Little to no weather, except what you have from the motion of the planet around the sun...

Effect of axial tilt on a planet

I hope this is not too much of a thread hijack, but... What would a world be like with a perfectly circular orbit and no axial tilt?

It's hard being an adult gamer

I have seen some stories (on TV new magazine programs, 20/20, dateline, etc.) that have born out what Moogle is saying. We have less time only because we have made choices to fill up our time with certain things. These are choices we have made, not things forced upon us. Some examples given...

    What was Gandalf's XP level?

To definitively answer your question, no the Valar did not intercede. Further, Tolkien explains that Gandalf was knowingly sacrificing himself to save the others when he made the stand on the bridge, even though he didn't have to. He was unwilling to break the rules laid down by Eru, so he did...

    What was Gandalf's XP level?

I'm sorry I don't. I think it was an action initiated by Eru, but I'll have to check to be sure. Anyone else have the book to check now?
