    But if the streamlining speeds up the game, players will get more opportunities to roll dice since they can get more game in. In one session, I'd much prefer 3 encounters where I rolled the dice 10 times in each over only having time for a single encounter that caused me 30 dice rolls.

    Furthermore, WotC has the opportunity to capitalize here... 'Gish' is a 100% unique D&D term. What better way to further cement D&D as its own type of fantasy than to seize this and seamlessly incorporate it?

    I meant to go back and mention those pics in the thread on fighter I started... but I forgot. I do think that TWF will be an option.
