    Intimidate variant

The idea about using BAB to increase the indimidation factor of a person or critter is to allow big nasties to scare characters. This would allow a 20th lvl fighter to actually look imposing, thou he would still pee himself if he saw a really scary rogue, but that's for another thread. For...

    How do you handle age?

That's cool. THis is mostly a curiousity thing for me- I was just wondering why humans seemed so much smarter, or perhaps how their parents put up with diapering for twenty years. We have campaigns that the characters have aged three years in D&D, and a GURPs campaign where its been like...

    Giant unstopable robot- HELP!!!

I thank you D4 for the thoughts, however- Dynamo and Corsair thought of the EMP tricks you discribed and Dynamo used up all of his Hero Points, trying to stay conscious and doing EMP blasts and tricks- the result was a scratched shell and us running. The GM has pointed out to us a couple times...

    Giant unstopable robot- HELP!!!

not necassarily- that is all an assumption about protecting the Windy City. It has not avoided stepping on cars, we have had to grab people out from harms way (so they didn't become a red splat on the street), so its not tip toeing around. Your right, Fenris might well have done nothing with...

    Intimidate variant

There are some holes int eh D20 skills Part of the "arguement" is that- I have a Wizard Alran he has a 16 Cha, and started out as a shop wizard, out of shape, scared of his own shadow in a shadowy cavern, hes a geek, not really concerned about adventuring, etc. His Intimidation skill +3...

    Giant unstopable robot- HELP!!!

Ya, he wrote the program then kicked/died. The robot was placed- in parts, inside a cargo container and stored, moved to a research facility then stolen by Fenris. It was started up when the FBI pulled the generators off of it. Its my belief that it was programed to do something by its...

    Giant unstopable robot- HELP!!!

Actually we don't think its being controlled, we think its running on programs installed by the creator. If someone is running it by remote then we have no clue who it is- thou it could be some head honcho in Fenris, but supposablely all the robot stuff was there at the raided base.

    Giant unstopable robot- HELP!!!

I did think of Michigan but any time someone grabs hold of Mr Robot he squirms free. Corsair tried to grab it up and couldn't hold up until his next turn.

    Giant unstopable robot- HELP!!!

Emm- there are no supers with computer skills, thou Corsair's brother- his Sidekick, seems to be good at research and such (he has no powers, just skills) perhaps he could do this. Thanks, I am sure Coyote6 will say that the robot can't be contacted or something for the down load, but its a...

    Giant unstopable robot- HELP!!!

Not sure about a remote. I would say there is a better chance that it got commands from its radio system, tell it the command word and then give it new commands, then lock its system with another command word. Thou this is only a guess. Very true. Its armor is tough. Corsair dumped a lot...

    Giant unstopable robot- HELP!!!

Not sure why its headed for Chicago- I think it is going there to defend the city from Russian ICBMs- should they ever show up (it might still think there is the possibility of a nuclear war with Russia) We have yet to be able to figure out how strong its AI is. It hasn't talked to us, or...

    Giant unstopable robot- HELP!!!

Near as we know this is the only giant robot about. Not sure the Russians would even admit to having a giant robot- they might be to embarressed to admit- "um, ya, we have a giant robot, it looks like a teddy bear thou," sorry couldn't resist. Not sure we have the time to ask- its an idea...

    How do you handle age?

Which brings up a curious, yet nasty question- what did they use for diapers before cloth? Surely they would use something. I mean think about the nasty mess you would have in the babies bed in the morning is you didn't do something

    Giant unstopable robot- HELP!!!

Dam wish I had thought of that one :D Seriously thou- Its kind of in a populated area. Ya, it has missiles and they seem to be its primary weapon, thou it has the laser eye thing going on too, and its pretty strong, its back handed a few people into a Stunning feeling- but it like the...

    Giant unstopable robot- HELP!!!

Emm- kinda hoping the FBI was doing that, thou I don't know that they are doing more then searching for a clues for us. Fenris only put it together- it was all in pieces in a big cargo container. Fenris stole it from a military research center, after DARPA or the NSA took it from the federal...

    Giant unstopable robot- HELP!!!

We have people looking through the Fenris base, where the thieves took it, hoping for a clue the only thing that came up was the fuel door idea in the bottom of its foot. Its deactivated by a command word, but the guy who know it is dead, and we have no one that can speak to him. As far as...

    Giant unstopable robot- HELP!!!

oh, ya, forgot the giant magnet idea- We talked about it- using a magnet, but problem is that so far its shrugged off everything we have put up against it, and a wreching yard magnet- while strong, doesn't seem like it would help much. Do you have an idea of how to use one? What would you do...

    Giant unstopable robot- HELP!!!

Its headed South into Chicago, down major highway. Ya, its metal, but its insulated from electricity and EMP. It was created by a contractor for DARPA, stolen from a military instilation after many years of storage. The villian group called Fenris, were the thieves, they put it together and...

    How do you handle age?

:) Why wouldn't they? Keep the nasty waste off of everything that a baby touches, keep them from "streaming" into the ol' spellbook collection. An undiapered babe who hasn't been potty trained is a messy afair. BTW- we're not talking Pampers here, in the old days they use to use cloth...
