Damaging in a grapple + constrict

After looking at the monster entry last night, it specifically states that the legendary snake gets bite damage in addition to the base damage of the constrict.

    Antilife shell

The field is being forced upon in this situation instead of the shield forcing upon the living creature. Thus doesn't trigger the collapse clause, and would in fact preventing the living projectile from entering the area. Also on a strict interpretation, this spell is farely useless in any area...

Damaging in a grapple + constrict

Not having the legendary info infront of me. If the constrict entry says it does poison when it constricts then your player is correct, else the snake does not get the poison unless it uses the attack the poison is a part of.

Why is Polar Ray an 8th level spell?

Most people, including myself, wouldn't consider that for the balance of the spell. This is because the 1 balances out the 20. Since as in my earlier example, rolling a 1 on a dragon misses even though you likely hit his touch AC. Not including that the crit has to be confirmed the miss(0...

Cast a Personal Spell on another Creature?

Warweaver from Heroes of Battles gives an ability to change personal spells to touch spells. There is no limit on uses, but you can only use it on those that you designate during spell preparation time. (it also might be capped) Unfortunately, it is only an arcane caster PrC.

Druid iterative attacks combined with natural attacks

I think your right, where did you find the info on natural attacks.

Druid iterative attacks combined with natural attacks

There is no way to gain iteratives with your natural attack routine, but you can do iteratives with a natural weapon. This means that you can either bite, claw(-5), claw(-5) or you can bite, bite(-5) or claw, claw(-5). This is why normally druids use the natural attack routine instead. It is...

    demolition crystal plus crippling strike

While demolition crystals (and truedeath) allow the rogue to sneak attack constructs and undead, this does not circumvent the immunity to ability damage (that both types have).

Need Ideas on PrC for a Sorcerer

After rereading your post, she might want to consider Abjurant Champion. Being able to cast low level abjurations as a swift action on top of the bab/hit die is a nice combo.

Need Ideas on PrC for a Sorcerer

I believe there is a PrC in Faerun that is all about creating awesome potions. I dont remember if it is worthwhile, but matches flavor. A common prc that people like for sorcerer would be Wildmage or Bloodmagus. (Complete Arcane)

    Handful of New House Rules

For the neg level -> Con deal, I would suggest that you retain the duration and permanent/temporary mechanics that the negative level of the monster have. So if you get hit by a vampire and take 2 neg level, you instead take a -2 penalty to con. After 24 hours you make a fort save, if you save...

    Beguilers - too powerful?

I have always found Beguiler to be a power class but limited by encounter type. I do not see this as a problem since Rogues, and Rangers are very similar. Yes most of their effects are SoD or SoS but when you start tweaking their DC it can get ugly and fast. Lets go for level 10- Gray Elf with a...

    Cloak of Mage Armor

And this is why I said, In such situation. Since its up to the DM as to how strict an interpretation to take.

Cohorts, Familiars, Mounts, Animal Companions... and CR??

To sum up my feelings on the issue: - The player has be skilled at both fluff and crunch. For example, I could easily run 4 or 5 characters without much trouble (provided I am familiar with them) but would have some trouble with 2 or more characters (one of my down falls as a DM). - Provided...

Cohorts, Familiars, Mounts, Animal Companions... and CR??

For me it really comes down to this. For most people roleplaying one character is hard enough, doing two is unthinkable. So if the player does not roleplay the cohort effective, it does feel like the spotlight is being hogged. I have had players that did a good job giving their cohorts...

Why is Polar Ray an 8th level spell?

It can be truestrike... though it is 1/3 as effective as it is on Polar Ray.

Cohorts, Familiars, Mounts, Animal Companions... and CR??

Anything that is built into a class (familars, animal campanions, etc) are a factor of the characters EL and are not included in calculations. I don't remember off the top of my head how cohorts are factored in, but I think they are factored in as per their level (remember that is at least 2...

    Cloak of Mage Armor

Sorry, I misread the flow of the conversation. In such situation, it would work.

    Cloak of Mage Armor

This is actually incorrect. This is like saying that having +1 padded armor and +2 Bracers of Armor and you get a +3 bonus to AC. The magic vestment is acting on the clothing, and not directly on your characters AC. Thus the spell increase the amount of armor being provided by the cloths. This...
