IE 8 for me, specifically. The top banner w/ ENWorld logo loads, the grey background loads. Nothing else loads. I had to log in on Firefox to post this. Since the site works fine in one browser but not the other on the same computer, I assume it is an issue w/ IE, and not my computer...

Untyped damage from a spell (and thus no DR allowed), or B/S/P type damage from a spell (still no DR allowed). Stuff like Disintigrate, or Stone Call. And yeah, negative energy levels and ability drain/damage. But including those feels like cheating.

OMG, it's atrocious! Turn it off! Turn it off! Turn it off! Why in the hell do we need all this crap? All it does is make the site more and more miserable to try and navigate through. I don't even want a sidebar, let alone 30% of my screen devoted to it!

Knight really isn't worth it till 20. That said, whether doing a few levels or 20, Knight has some conflicting class feature mechanics. They get shield using-based bonuses...but they also get the ability to make their threatened area into difficult terrain, which goes much better w/ a reach...

One shot sneak attack doesn't keep up w/ a Fighter's full attack volley for damage. So the point about highest damage stands. :p

Normally advancing in Ranger mainly is better. Lack of spells makes it a tougher choice, I'd still stick mostly to Ranger for the BAB. Probably Scout 1 / Ranger 2 / Scout 2-4 / Ranger 3-16. Or maybe at level 20 go Scout 5, I don't know, not like you'll actually reach level 20. Anyway, Rapid...

Normally, it'd be rogue archer for most damage, just because SA progresses twice as fast as skirmish. But...sneak attack requires spells or magic items to work from range past round 1, so in this game it probably won't work too well. Only real options here are Ranger/Scout swift hunter or...

IIRC, flight is also much more limited in usage and duration in 4E. Even so... "yet another reason to hate 4E."

That is a horrible houserule. 1. Casters are far more likely to be flying than non-casters, due to having far more options for it. 2. Flight is already FREAKING AMAZING! 3. Most people would say that it is the MARTIAL classes, if anyone, who should be best at tactical mobility, avoidinf AoOs...

Weapon Supremacy is like level 18 or 20... I wouldn't build for that if the game's starting at 1. It is extremely rare to see a game actually last that long, and when it does, it probably takes 1-3 years to get there. If Swift Hunter is allowed, obviously he should be a Scout/Ranger, though...
