    Sinbad (New Series)

Oh wow! I used to love the Adventures of Sinbad as a kid! Will have to keep track of this thread, find out if it will be available in the U.S.

Entangling Exhalation + DFA Slow Breath?

Yes, but in all cases, it's still saying you're doing damage. You need to do damage for EE to work.

Arcane Prestige Class with Full Progression Wanted

Doesn't War Weaver lose caster levels?
  4. StreamOfTheSky

No full caster, Low Magic, High level fighting Undead... I need help.

For swift hunter build, be a Necropolitan Wood Elf. Be sure to use the elven racial sub. level at 1 so that your undead FE bonus is +3 per increase, instead of the normal +2. Also grab Solitary Hunting alt. class feature from dragon magazine. Give up your animal companion for FE bonus...

Arcane Prestige Class with Full Progression Wanted

Incantatrix [some Faerun book] Archmage [core 3E] Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil (requires wasting a LOT of feats, though) [C.Arcane] Geometer [C.Arcane] Just some cool/good ones off the top of my head you'd qualify for.

Looking for "Gun Fu" Inspiration Sources

Bayonetta, a video game. She even shoots with two guns on her feet and does acrobatics with them, along with the two in her hands. Oh yeah, one of the weapons you can get is literally "gun-chucks," too. They actually work best in tight quarters where you can ricohet the bullets around off...

Cleaving: Are a horse and rider "adjacent"?

I allow (Great) Cleave and WWA to work on swarms. WWA is really simple: roll once to hit swarm AC, if you do, roll 1 damage at 150% (as if an area attack) and inflict that on the swarm. Easy. Great Cleave I'm not as set on how to adjudicate, I'm thinking of just allowing it to ignore the half...

    Force Bow cost

If you like literally shooting your money away... I'm too stingy to ever get such expensive arrows. Bane or Sacred (for the good aligned property) maybe, and even then...never have.

    D&D 3.x [v.3.5] Polymorph

Kingius, as the one who said all the polymorph spells in core were broken EXCEPT the Polymorph spell itself (and I'll expand that to Baleful Polymorph, which I didn't even think of before but is completely in line with the other save or die spells), I'd like you to explain why those other spells...

    Force Bow cost

It depends. Some games, DR comes up less than others. And if you have access to someone to align your weapon, all the special material arrows, etc... you can cope, too. And if you can use PF material, there's the Clustered Shots feat. The main reason to not get Force is that Splitting...

    D&D 3.x [v.3.5] Polymorph

...I thought we were talking about Polymorph and core forms. Assume Supernatural Ability is extremely broken...as is most stuff from Savage Species. Fortunately, it's 3.0, so that's seldom even an issue... I don't know what bringing up abusing ASA, or a completely different spell (draconic...

    D&D 3.x [v.3.5] Polymorph

Yeah, Alter Self can give you flight at 10x duration at a lower spell level, among other tricks. And is especially exploitable if you can get outsider or dragon as your racial type. I consider Alter Self broken mostly due to its duration and spell level. It doesn't give you the combat...

    Force Bow cost

Force from MIC (not to be confused w/ Hank's Energy Bow) is a +2 market price. So its cost depends on what your bow is currently. If it's a +1 bow, then you're paying the difference between that and a +3 bow to upgrade it, for instance. Price to enhance magic weapons is (bonus^2) * 2000 gp...

    D&D 3.x [v.3.5] Polymorph

The polymorph subschool spells all have dumb restrictions and were a huge step in the wrong direction, IMO. Swift action, selfish (self-only), short duration spells with big temp hp boosts. They basically exist solely to pwn in melee better than the warrior classes and have no other use at...

Cleaving: Are a horse and rider "adjacent"?

If you're not "on" the horse, and instead "share its space," then why do you potentially get the higher ground bonus on your melee attacks?

Cleaving: Are a horse and rider "adjacent"?

Yes, the rider is adjacent to the mount. D&D is written in 2D, but that doesn't make 3D stop existing. Rider is above the mount's space and is a legal target. And in any case, being able to cleave adjacent but not into the same square is silly as hell anyway.

    D&D 3.x 3.5e Core Book Reprint

I love Tome of Battle and voted for it, but I'm concerned. IIRC Baker said he now wishes he hadn't put in the refresh mechanics. Can we really trust WotC not to mess up a good thing here? Also, choosing the books by year printed sucks... I'd rather just choose like a top 10 out of all or...

The Capoeirista (A Battle Dancer class fix)

I think the proficiencies are fine. I was considering adding machete (if there is such a weapon in D&d and if not, whatever best represents it) and some other stuff, but ultimately I only wanted to add some specific capoeira flavor to a dancing martial artist class, not some 100% replication of...

The Capoeirista (A Battle Dancer class fix)

And if you continue reading that sentence, it's not too flattering. Not the sort of name a majority of the practitioners would want to call themselves... In any case, sounds like it was just that one specific group of them, while as capoeirista is the more general term.
