doesnt empower = x 1.5 the total rolled? and if same spell is maximised that amount would be 6 for a d6 then +3 for the empower...I have only played low level wizards and have never run across this question before. THorncrest

I did make mention of that 3rd paragraph down in my last post magics or spellcasters standing by....but my piont still remains he needs the +3 weapon either by GMW or just a magical blade to effect the creatures found at this level CR.

So a maximised touch of idiocy -6 to cha + -6wis + -6 to int and if empowered that would be the cost of a (+3+2=7th level spell) but would be -9 to each....I dont have the books is there a save for this? I f I remember right it was a touch attack? Thorncrest

A big strong guy like that, Vow of Peace. You can beat the you know what out of enemies with subdual damage, submission holds etc if they are a living being. You can combat w/ deadly force constructs undead. Thorncrest

Yah your right this party save the construct would be, well, considered poor for there level, sounds like a very low level magic or at least low magical campaign. My current group tends to beef the enemy up a bit, example give the demon a +3 or 4 weapon but usually evil so the party cant use it...

I dont want to suggest that the character is defined by his magics, rather he's enhanced. And in the case of your Palidon its fine you have access to feats to enhance your weapons and armor "the divine might shield etc" to make make them useful against creatures with +1 +2 +3 requirments....if...
