I put grognards in quotes for this reason. Countless true grognards have expressed that 4E felt more like 1E than 3E did. I wouldn't count the 4E gnome not being in the PHB to be a loss, BTW.

WotC learned that if you ignore the people giving you money while trying to please the people who aren't, you can successfully shorten the lifespan of a system. Actually, as evidenced by the pandering they are doing now, perhaps they did not.

Even though they haven't made 4E Dragonlance, the rest has been gold. Pre-Essentials, Essentials, Post-Essentials, it is all good.

Actually, the samurai works quite well with the Slayer as well.

I hope now that we have this awesome theme, they can go back and heavily alter the Animal Master to function similar to it. I want them to make a mount theme similar to this now. Complete with Horse, Rhino, Dragon, and Goat. Why goat, you ask? Because a riding goat is awesome.

Well, I got my rejection, but Chris was quite clear on how I could improve it, adjust it, and what they are looking for. I resent a new submission after it, making the adjustments that he gave me. Hopefully it will work out better this time around.

Tomorrow is ten days for mine as well. Not really counting on getting a response anytime soon if at all.

Yup, got it this time around too. Like immediately after I submitted, so that is a sign they did actually receive it.

I sent it during the last review cycle, so theoretically I would have been part of that review and comment commitment. If I don't get a response this time around, I will take that as a hint.

My last article pitch submission was so bad I didn't even get a rejection :(. I just sent in a new one, but I am not counting on anything. I did go into more detail than the last one, but still.

I must say, I am looking forward to EVERY article in Dragon this month. Congrats, Shroomy, on the Hengeyokai article. Hopefully there are lots of different types in the article. I need to work on article proposals for Dragonlance so they can do a month similar to what they are doing for...
