Is it wrong that I think much of the response to this thread illustrates exactly why this hobby is pretty well male dominated? The very idea that it is a good thing that so much of the D&D team is women is so abhorrent to many in this hobby that the response to it probably drives many women away...

They can't say that either. Reducing produ production to nil then resuming so that it looks like there was a spike in sales then only claiming that there was a jump in sales would be misleading investors.

I don't hole punch, I buy sleeves and put pages back to back, thus creating the illusion of a book. I did it with Basic D&D and keep it as a resource for new players that don't have the PHB.

I can't complain about free stuff. I kinda hope they compile it all in a book later on, though. I am not very keen on Errata, since they were big on it in 4E and it made the books almost worthless. Maybe a clarification here and there, but more than that is just asking for problems. I can't...

I am curious where those people get their drugs, because the best fighter/mage in D&D history was the swordmage. The Eldritch Knight seems to work well enough. I wish they weren't so limited. It would have been better if their had access to three or four spell schools.

TWO? There were at least three. I could easily see them make a subrace for both the Yugoloth and Demon descended Tieflings.

Which makes sense, if you think about it. The pact/curse that created them goes from parent to child, no matter if both parents or one parent are tieflings.

Seems easy enough. I would love to see an article that gave a ton of subraces to the Tiefling like you described.

It would have been nice if there was a Demonic subrace that got +1 to Constitution instead of Intelligence. Maybe a few other trait differences. Overall, there isn't much that I disagree with here.

You know, I got to hand it to the devs. They put something this divisive up after the PHB race TOC was posted with the only race using an unknown number of pages is the Tiefling. Maybe there will be a sidebar talking about the demon-descended Tieflings. Maybe the Tiefling race will be 7 pages...

It's unusual that they went with the 4e Tiefling given how much hate it got. Must have been the loud minority not the majority. They said they are going to show more of the tiefling today, so hopefully we will see the Planescape one as well.
