D&D 5E (2014) I don't actually get the opposition for the warlord... or rather the opposition to the concept.

I would like to see more warlord fans in the testing phase. Although there is some bargaining, either way, I look forward to seeing your draft.

D&D 5E (2014) Do Classes Have Concrete Meaning In Your Game?

The first thing that comes to mind is having a witch helm, something akin to a spelljammer helm. And that is bleeding over into Chronicles of Riddick territory. I could go places with this.

D&D 5E (2014) Do Classes Have Concrete Meaning In Your Game?

I will admit to conjecture. But it needs to be said. Thieves' Cant was included as a nod to old farts like me. Nothing more.

D&D 5E (2014) Do Classes Have Concrete Meaning In Your Game?

Haha... There is not much mustier smell than the credo that balances my gaming: "While the material in this booklet is referred to as rules, that is not really correct. Anything in this booklet (and other D&D booklets) should be thought of as changeable — anything, that is, that the Dungeon...

thanks for being nice and crapping on me at the same time. I am certain your playstyle smells like whale blubber. /teeheehee somekind of happy emote that makes the mods think I am just kidding. Nah, we good. A prince of thieves can speak thieves' cant even though he is the Warlord of the...

D&D 5E (2014) Do Classes Have Concrete Meaning In Your Game?

A class might not but a piper will carry the pipes! And wear a kilt at the same time. I have him at Fighter1/Sorcerer1 I want to play a goblin bard (necromancer) that plays a panfulte to animate the remains of dead adventurers and brings them to their home-graveyard.

    November's SAGE ADVICE Is Here!

I would suggest DM's play and make mistakes to become better at DM'ng rather than hang from the teets. The best sage advice I can think of is for the sage advice column come out and say, just roll with it.

D&D 5E (2014) Do Classes Have Concrete Meaning In Your Game?

I feel ashamed that I don't use an nacho references when I play him. But he comes into the arena apparently playing the bagpipes. Then when the announcer gives him the shout out, he leaves the bagpipes floating in the center of the arena using mage hand, and continues his anthem with minor...

D&D 5E (2014) Do Classes Have Concrete Meaning In Your Game?

I try to get my players to play character concepts and not classes. EDIT: I reminded myself of a current game where the player is using a Hill Dwarf/Fighter/Champion/Folk Hero to create his Ranger character concept.

    D&D 5E (2014) Most annoying / awesome magic items

The Dust of Dryness is a quest item I am using for a novel I am writing. The novel is based off of a 5E game session and the DoDryness was amazing. I needed some Dust of Dryness during my high school days. Sun swords are annoying in a cool jedi sort of way. I find the art more annoying than...

    D&D 5E (2014) Collaborative adventure creation?

I don't have a problem with starting a group here on enworld. I am uncertain about rolling dice in the group application here. That is why I suggest moving to something like roll20. It has dice and a way to copy the transcript of a session and post it to a thread. I mean, what kind of world...

I haven't used cc3. GIMP is very similar to photoshop and is used frequently over at the cartographer's guild. You can get a lot more info about map making from them. Link to Cartographer's guild Link to a Collab effort at Myth-Weavers I have Photoshop CS5 and GIMP 2.8 for my mac and I use...

    D&D 5E (2014) Collaborative adventure creation?

I am up for some collab. I prefer putting the setting together on a dedicated pbp forum and setting up a roll20 schedule to talk and playtest also. I can do GIMP so mapping is not an issue.
