sry. I was responding to this. Part of the fuel for inspirational regaining of hit points is because the 5E has no requirement to describe damage in any way. Fire damage from a fireball only assigns a type of damage but a dude could walk right through a fireball and not have any RAW burns...

Since Feats are optional, I probably would add more maneuvers to the BM write up. But yeah, I think going crazy with the pieces works too.

I understand there is a want for it and by all means build it. I question the logic that a Battlemaster can not be built to function with support as its core. I think it can and I think it is, at least, testable.

I can see that. I think mellored addressed a fix. I have no issue with this Warlord having a fighting style. The write up has me confused as to when the fighting class comes in and what standard fighter has a fighting style at 2nd level?
