Your wish list of modules you'd want to play in/run

I have a deep desire to play in The Fall of Delta Green (rule set + campaign). For D&D, I'd like to play the new Spelljammer campaign all the way through. We started it, but due to some real life issues (our DM was hospitalized for three months), the campaign fell apart and we never returned to it.

    Christmas swag!

Ooo. Vaesen is very good and the book is a thing of beauty.

    Christmas swag!

Yeah, I realized that the iPad was killing my eyes AND I really didn't use it for anything other than reading/editing PDFs and comics. Both things that the reMarkable will let me do, while not killing my vision.

    Christmas swag!

I got a bunch of POD books (mostly OSRIC and S&W stuff), a copy of the new HarnMaster: Roleplaying in Kethira book (still in transit to me). And I paid off my iPad, upgrading to an e-ink reader (because my eyes).

What bespoke RPG is actually really good for other types of campaigns?

They still have the license to distribute The Dying Earth RPG.

Is the Liminal Horror rpg a good one ?

Indeed, that poster is mistaken about a great many things. I think they have Liminal Horror confused with another game entirely. In my experience, Liminal Horror is great for one-shots (in fact, that's all I've ever used it for). Character creation takes minutes, not hours. Combat is quickly...

D&D General SAG-AFTRA actors on how RPGs help them be better actors

I'm not surprised to see most of those names (I've known them to be big D&D fans), but I must say that I am surprised (but pleased) to see Michelle Hurd mentioned.

    Avoiding campaign sameness

Check out The Big List of RPG Plots by S. John Ross. It's magnificent (and free).

What bespoke RPG is actually really good for other types of campaigns?

Kreg Mosier's The Dead, while probably the best zombie apocalypse RPG I've ever played/read, is also (with a tiny bit of work) great for any setting where relationships, fear, and sociopathy as a result of seeing some naughty word go down (referred to as "cold" in the rules) are important features. I've...

    Tell your overdue Kickstarter story

That guy took in so many of my friends. And, when he finally delivered the PDF (to some but not all backers), the ZIP file allegedly contained a Trojan virus. Good God. Also, amidst all of the issues with his Kickstarter, he was outed as a sex pest by a poster on Twitter and didn't respond to...

    Trailer Superman Teaser Trailer

That was my only issue with Fate in Black Adam. He's much more powerful than Doctor Strange (and Black Adam, for that matter), but they really dialed back his power in the film. I mean, I get that they had to (after all, the name of the film is Black Adam). Brosnan still did great within those...

OSR OSR game with more dangerous magic

My own Six-Hack has simple but risky magic. Anybody can use magic, but only elves acting as Magic Users and actual Magic Users can do so with ease. That said, all casters have to make a successful dice roll to cast a spell. And if they fail, the referee is encouraged to get weird with it. If...

    Tell your overdue Kickstarter story

There are some great megadungeons out there, though (e.g. Eyes of the Stone Thief, Stonehell, many of Greg Gilllespie's books, etc). Or at least megadungeons that receive almost nothing but great praise. Dungeon of the Mad Mage isn't an example of a great megadungeon. At least I've never heard...

    Tell your overdue Kickstarter story

I'm also led to believe that the finished product was not great. I'm a member of a lot of buy/sell communities online. There are many of these on secondhand offer right now (being sold on by disappointed backers/buyers) and almost none of them are selling.

    Tell your overdue Kickstarter story

Thank you. That means a lot. I've seen many bad Kickstarters that crashed and burned where the creators either told a pack of lies to justify their failure or just disappeared with no communication at all. I didn't want to be "that guy".

    Tell your overdue Kickstarter story

My own Kickstarter, Six-Hack was/is overdue because I grossly underestimated how hard handling most everything (except art and layout) by myself would be. BUT the final rules have been delivered, including a setting and adventure. Only the map is outstanding (delayed by a comedy of errors...

    Trailer Superman Teaser Trailer

Most of them were, yes. The Rock as Black Adam was fine, but not particularly great, IMO. Aldis Hodge as Hawkman and Pierce Brosnan as Fate were magnificent, though. And, yes, The Rock's meddling is one of the contributing factors to why the film tanked.

    Trailer Superman Teaser Trailer

I honestly thought that those other characters were the strongest part of Black Adam. Particularly Dr. Fate.

    Trailer Superman Teaser Trailer

Well, that first teaser trailer for Superman looks very good. The casting I'm most excited for though? Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent. That guy is a GREAT actor and one of my favorites.
