TSR The Full & Glorious History of NuTSR

Also, probably living it up on a private yacht, not posting to nerd game message forums.

    Favorite Transformer?

Gen 1 Hound. Because he was the first Transformer I received as a birthday present when I was a kid.

ElfQuest TTRPG Returns For New Printing

Possibly. As I noted, I never played it, only owned it (and that was over 22 years ago).

    District Court Opinion (nuTSR, Tenkar)

I have my suspicions that may be part of it. I also suspect he may be a wee bit unethical.

ElfQuest TTRPG Returns For New Printing

Not much different, honestly. The big thing is the use of the Resistance Table (which I honestly dislike quite a bit).

ElfQuest TTRPG Returns For New Printing

I owned the box set ages ago (the mid-90s). I never did get to play it, but it seemed like a well put together game.

An appreciation for players who come up with great character names...

    I immediately thought of this:

    Anybody remember the "Warlock" supplement?

I do. I never get rid of anything. :)

    OSR Resources?

This collection of things for The Black Hack is rather impressive.

    Favorite Superhero TTRPG

Right now, it's Longshot City by the same folks who brought us Troika. Earlier this year. I love the random character gen, the weird art, and the initiative system yoinked from Troika. Not yet. I've only read it, not played it.

How to find the "joy of prep" in PbtA games?

I recently helped edit a product called The Improv Almanac that is available PWYW on Itch.io. It's basically a collection of different locations, custom moves, questions, terrain features, dangers, and other narrative prompts specifically designed to help prep for Dungeon World encounters. I had...

    Dwarven Funeral for King?

    That's super cool!

How Dragonbane Pointed out the Clashing Desires of My Gaming Group

Kind of. I believe that T&T (the system and all of the related IP with that brand that Flying Buffalo owned) was sold to Rebellion. Monsters! Monsters! is an off-shoot game that was first published in 1976 and is based on T&T (and, yes, Ken is currently publishing a new edition of that game).

    D&D 5E (2014) DM-Facing content to port into 5e from 3e/3.5+

I'd love to see an updated Ghostwalk.

    Dwarven Funeral for King?

A lot of that depends on how dwarven society is treated in a given setting. For instance, in one of my homebrew D&D settings, dwarves are returned to the earth when they die, buried in elaborate stone cairns/tombs, specifically with their head pointed away from the entrance (to confuse them...

How Dragonbane Pointed out the Clashing Desires of My Gaming Group

It's more like 3.5 revised but, yes, mostly.

How Dragonbane Pointed out the Clashing Desires of My Gaming Group

I came here to post exactly this. The good news is, I suppose, that you can get the three core books for 3e from Noble Knight in NM/EX condition for like $10 a piece (without the CD from the PHB).

D&D General So... anybody still playing D&D 3e (not 3.5)?

Looks like I may need to pick up a few more 3.0 books on payday! :)

TSR The Full & Glorious History of NuTSR

I suspect he knew there was no way he'd prevail, so he just decided not to show up.
