    VTT Recommendations?

I'm fine with downloading modules and such. I use Manjaro on one of my laptops. :) And Foundry caught my eye because of the way its license works and because of how it handles servers (I host, I believe).

    VTT Recommendations?

I think I'm going to start playing/running RPGs primarily online. In the past I've used Discord + Owl Bear Rodeo for this. But I want to look into a more dedicated VTT - and not Roll20 (for a number of reasons).* Do you have recommendations? *Since somebody elsewhere asked, not Roll20 because...

Judges Guild Makes Statement About Goodman Controversy [Updated]

Again, IANAL, but I believe that in the instance of criminal prosecution, it is incumbent upon the prosecutor to prove fraud (they have to prove how the defendant, who is accused of fraud, spent the funds by way of presenting evidence to that end). You seem to be operating under the assumption...

Judges Guild Makes Statement About Goodman Controversy [Updated]

I'm also aware of other long overdue Kickstarters that were reported to state AGs (for example, I know that, at one point, people reported Gareth Skarka's Far West Kickstarter to the state AG). People were basically told "no dice" on the same grounds.

Judges Guild Makes Statement About Goodman Controversy [Updated]

IANAL, but in order to prove fraud, I think an attorney needs to conclusively prove where those JG funds went and, more specifically, that they went somewhere other than toward pledge fulfillment. [Edit: It's really easy to say that those funds went elsewhere, but providing proof - which court...

Judges Guild Makes Statement About Goodman Controversy [Updated]

That individual wasn't tried for not delivering on his Kickstarter, but for spending the funds raised on personal expenses (such as moving). That's fraud. Which isn't the same thing as simply not delivering.

    High-quality systemless books [+]

If this is true, you're welcome. I'm a big fan of jim pinto's work (and I'm not just saying that because I frequently work with him). He has some great stuff. King for a Day is definitely high up there, though. There's so much meat there.

    High-quality systemless books [+]

I edited the revised edition of the book in question and I'll second that nomination. It's a wonderful fantasy campaign with great depth (I've also run it and my players only scratched the surface of the campaign).

I entered, but I just recently yeeted my Twitter account, so I couldn't take advantage of all the options to enter. :(

Goodman Games Revives Relationship With Anti-Semitic Publisher For New City State Kickstarter [UPDATED]

Yeah, the more I think about it, the less thrilled I am with Goodman Games' stance. I mean, I get that they want to make money, as most businesses do, but this is a money-making opportunity I would've passed on full stop were I in their shoes, especially given their past commitment to never work...

For those who don't play D&D (or its clones), what keeps you engaged with EN World?

The industry news. No other website covers as much industry news as in depth as ENWorld does. This was once true of other sites, but I think that time has passed. When I want RPG industry news, I come to ENWorld.

What is/are your most recent TTRPG purchase(s)?

The Book of Lost Spells by Necromancer Games, which I plan to use with Ba5ic.

D&D General D&D spell list books?

I have significantly downsized my RPG collection in the last 24 hours. I am keeping my copies of Ba5ic for my future fantasy RPG needs, though. Ba5ic, for those unfamiliar with it, is a simple fantasy RPG built on a chassis of 5e but with that old school feel. I love it, BUT the one thing I...

In-person Game cancelled. What do you play?

We played Ticket to Ride last Friday when half the group failed to show. I had a lot of fun.

Provide detailed rules for jousting on flying air sharks. At a bare minimum.

TSR I need assistance finding a possibly imaginary box set

In Wichita, KS one of the big box book stores (possibly Barnes & Noble) carried the entire line, so I don't think they were that rare. That said, they were always in stock and I got the impression that nobody bought them.
