There is no logical reason to not take all of them, assuming any time you want a skill, and that skill is in another class's list, and you do not yet have the feat. Not taking it is essentially gimping yourself on purpose for 'concept reasons' - akin to say, playing a fighter in a loincloth...

Well I did note, there are a lot of good reasons to slam 4E, for actual concrete things in or missing from the books, but this just isn't one of them. All 'for casuals' really means is 'its appealing to an audience not defined by people exactly like me.'
