D&D 5E (2024) What is your oppinion of 5.24 so far?

See I like that idea alot better than coper dragons turning white, let the copper patina.

    D&D 5E (2024) Ranger 2024 is a bigger joke than Ranger 2014:

Dual welding only used to fall off if you are a fighter of 11th level or higher. Now with the cleave property I think that those will definitely outpace your dual welder.

D&D 5E (2024) What is your oppinion of 5.24 so far?

The designer commented on their heads, as they age the acid breath causes their scales to slowly melt and fall off. So the older and more powerful the more of a white face they will have but young ones are still all black.

D&D 5E (2024) Which subclasses “should” have been in 2024

Spirit bard would be better for a dark collection of subclasses.

Then you call it Zerthamon's Guide to the Mind.

Not yet, I am hoping for feats, maybe some indepth spell reviews, actual reviews on the backgrounds that have information would be nice.

    D&D 5E (2024) Class Iconic Art in the 2024 Player's Handbook

See to me the Genasi just feel like reflavored Tieflings. Give them resistances and thematic spells and you are good to go but honestly outside of Planescape I don't remember ever meeting or anyone playing a Genasi in a game since they were originally introduced. To me Goliath are similar to...

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Sorcerer"

I am hopeful that they will change Mage Armor to be the same, Dex + casting ability modifier.

D&D 5E (2024) Which subclasses “should” have been in 2024

Yeah I couldn't think of anything really for monk and it has been a while since I really looked at long death monk. As far as fighter I would love a darker fighter subclass. So many "black knight" concepts for better with the Paladin.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Sorcerer"

The lvl 7 feature also lets you spend 2 sorcery points to activate you "Sorcerers Rage" if you have no uses left. To me that is the core part of the feature. At level 7 you now have 10 sorcery points so you can afford to keep your main feature active for 4 combats a day without feeling a pinch...

D&D 5E (2024) Which subclasses “should” have been in 2024

With how they have it right now however I think they have a great opportunity to have all of the "dark" subclasses in one book. Barbarian: Beast Bard: Whisper Cleric: Death Druid: Spore Fighter: ??? Monk: Long Death ??? Paladin: Oathbreaker Ranger: Monster Hunter ??? Rogue: Phantom Sorcerer...

D&D 5E (2024) Which subclasses “should” have been in 2024

I would have preferred Barbarian: Ancestors over Zealot Ranger: Monster Hunter opposed to Fay Wanderer Sorcerer: shadow instead of clockwork, Warlock Undead not Divine Wizard: necromancer vs abjurer

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Bard"

It is a power boost I will agree with you on that. Now that the bard can use one of his two attacks as a cantrip I do not feel like they need it as much as they used to. I do feel though that they are just as martial as the rogue is so in my head it makes sense to me that they should have it...

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Cleric"

So the Evoker wizard gets a cantrip bonus at lvl 3 and the Draconic sorcerer get a bonus at lvl 6 I believe. Also the sorcerer has quicken spell and their new 1st level ability. Advantage on spell attacks benefits most cantrips your sorcerer is going to be casting. Depending on how their new...

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Bard"

The one thing I wish the Valor got more than anything else (and this goes for war cleric and blade warlock) was 1 weapon mastery.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Bard"

The big problem with flourishes is that you are not helping your ally. The Valor bard is supposed to be the bard who is fighting on the battlefield inspiring his comrades while the sword bard is just showing off.

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Bard"

If Clerics still get wrathful smite on their list like they did in ua7 then Magic Initiate cleric will be a strong feat for a Dance or especially Valor bard who does want more melee.

    D&D 5E (2024) Class Iconic Art in the 2024 Player's Handbook

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 Player's Handbook reveal: "New Ranger"

See I would have loved something like Favored Enemy: Gain proficiency in your choice of Nature, History, Arcana, Religion. In addition you have advantage on the study action when finding out information about your foes. This let's them be good at knowing about creatures and an extra skill...

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Pre-orders; this is sad

So since they are not selling the book to a distributer the profit on the bundle is probably closer to $40-$45 so even with the $20 discount since they are the ones selling the book to you direct there profit margin is much higher.
