D&D 5E (2024) Bladesinger, is it Green, Yellow, or Red?

Their 14lvl is the same as valor bards so why was no one thinking about the possiblity of a third attack back then?

D&D 5E (2024) Bladesinger, is it Green, Yellow, or Red?

Think of it as a wizards version of a barbarians rage.

D&D 5E (2024) Spellfire Sorceror what did you score it Green/Yellow/Red?

Back in the sorcerer playtest they were going to tie features to that but it got axed so I assume that none of the new ones would get that treatment since not enough people liked it for the core. Personally I loved it and agree that tieing spellfire crown would be a good move but I believe that...

D&D 5E (2024) Is Oath of the Noble Genie Green, Yellow, or Red?

They use the same wording as the bladsinger. No where does it even imply that you use it instead of your dex. " You gain a bonus to your AC equal to your charisma modifier" You are the only person I have seen who seems to believe that you use your cha instead of your dex.

D&D 5E (2024) What grade do you give the Winter Walker? Green/Yellow/Red?

Honestly since they already tied so much of the base class up in hunters mark I think buffing it with your subclass is the best thing they can do.

D&D 5E (2024) Is Oath of the Noble Genie Green, Yellow, or Red?

There is no ac difference at levels 1-2 AC 17 (chain mail 15 w shield +2) vs studded leather (12)+ dex(+3)+ shield (+2) = 17. Once you get your sub class you get a +2 or +3 ac bonus from your charisma. This let's you drop the shield and go two weapon fighting. By the time someone can afford...

D&D 5E (2024) Is Oath of the Noble Genie Green, Yellow, or Red?

It is studded leather armor (2) + Dex(3) + cha (3) for a base AC of 18 or 20 with a shield. It is not choose your dex or your cha while wearing light armor so just as good as plate with no penalties and a rather low cost. Also honestly how often is 2d4 fire or a strength save push and prone...

D&D 5E (2024) How do you grade Scion of the Dead Three? Green, Yellow, Red?

I told them just to drop the cantrip as they don't make sense and no rogue would use them. I agree with making it not an int class there are already 2 of those.

D&D 5E (2024) How do you grade Scion of the Dead Three? Green, Yellow, Red?

So you could just have traces of Bhaal's blood in you. I think that it ne day a few weeks but a melee fear based rogue is a good thing to have. They are as much a non evil idea as the assassin is. One of the problems that rogues have is that for some of not most your primary job is killing...

    D&D 5E (2024) Githzerai Psion? Thri-kreen Psion? Where's My Psion?

I would put Tand al'Thor as a bladsinger wizard if I was staying home up in 5e

D&D 5E (2024) Is Oath of the Noble Genie Green, Yellow, or Red?

I think that the elemental strikes need a bit of balancing against each other and their unarmored defense might be a bit to strong but other than that they are great and very unique

    D&D 5E (2024) Githzerai Psion? Thri-kreen Psion? Where's My Psion?

Back during the 2014 play test they tried going for a tighter theme for the sorcerer which I wish had made it into the core book. To me a shadow sorcer should be only casting shadowy magic just like a spellfire should only be manifesting spellfire. That ship has already sailed and while it is...

D&D 5E (2024) Do you like the Purple Dragon Knight Subclass?

When answering the feedback I told them that all I care about is for the pdk to be a mounted leader like character. The idea of a knight, to me at least, is of a mounted combatant. The dragon part feels forced but if they make it worthwhile and make it easy to swap out dragon types by changing...

    D&D 5E (2024) Githzerai Psion? Thri-kreen Psion? Where's My Psion?

This was one of the reasons talked about with the mystic after it got axed. Yes in a Dark Sun book the 20-30 pages would be well spent but even in a Tasha's style book that is a large page count for one class that may or may not be used. I personally fear that the best we will get is a wizard...

    D&D 5E (2024) Githzerai Psion? Thri-kreen Psion? Where's My Psion?

There are a few problems with implementing a psion. 1: Making it different enough from a just reskined wizard. In order toake this more than just a wizard with a very small spell selection they need to come up with something unique to the class, like using points or something else ( I loved...

Unearthed Arcana College of the Moon (Bard)

I never played FR in 3rd ed but played it alot in 2nd ed (I still want my Sha'ir back) so I wasn't aware that they made changes back in 3rd ed.

D&D 5E (2024) Do you like the Purple Dragon Knight Subclass?

As far as a mounted fighter the paladin gets a mount at lvl 5 that they can ride and that can dash, dodge or disengage for free with a 60ft movement. The drakewarden gets a dragon that has a great breath weapon but only at a higher level, it gets a better rend and it gets its resistances at an...

You just described Forgotten Realms in a nutshell. Each of these areas were originally designed around specific types of fantasy

D&D 5E (2024) Do you like the Purple Dragon Knight Subclass?

I want a good mounted knight subclass be it on a dragon or something else. This in my opinion fails to deliver on that

D&D 5E (2024) Rename Purple Dragon Knight to just Dragon Knight?

So I want to like this sub class, I really do but I think it fails as it is completely. We have a dragon pet class in the Drakewarden but it doesn't really feel like a dragon rider or a knight. If the PD started off as a medium creature who you could ride but no fly at level 3 then I would...
