Also along those lines, what are people's opinions on the Stun ability of Astral Devas? Can they use any melee weapon, as described in Savage Species, or are they limited to their Mace if they weren't leveled up as a PC?

That was my logic too (although I don't know why you only do 1/2 damage to objects - I think the authors got confused with energy damage). Any other opinions? Thanks!

I seem to recall the foes who are immune to criticals and sneak attacks are also immune to the extra damage from using Iaijutsu Focus. However, I can't find that stated in the books. Am I misremembering, or just blind? :) Thanks!

Re: Thanks! You still have to raise and lower it to cast out of it, but at least all of your magic items and buffs will still work. Just don't get too close to your buddies. :D

Even better: take a level of archmage for mastery of shaping and then have a permanent antimagic field with a hole in the center where you're standing. :)

The positively, absolutely best feat for a Loremaster is Jack of All Trades from Song and Silence. Why? Because it lets you use any Knowledge skill untrained. No more of that "I've put 1 rank in every Knowledge skill I can think of" stuff. (this is of course assuming that your DM gives...
