Personally, I'm guessing that the vampire the FE released is more of a distraction than anything else. Not to say he'll be easy to kill, but I think the FE is just trying to use other people/creatures to reach her goals.

As the player of another cleric of Pelor who just made 9th, I recommend not taking Improved Initiative. As a cleric, you actually should go as late in the round as possible. Stabilization checks are made at the end of the round. So if the last person in initiative gets knocked to -9, he gets one...

It's a non-epic feat from the Epic Level Handbook (along with Greater Multiweapon Fighting, and the epic feat Perfect Multiweapon Fighting).

Just give the thing Improved Multiweapon Fighting - +13/+8 with the primary scimitar, and +13/+8 with each additional scimitar, for a total of 8 attacks. That'll teach 'em. ;) (Want scary? An Epic-level Marilith with Perfect Multiweapon Fighting - 4 attacks with each arm, plus a tail slam...

On a similar note, has anyone found anything saying that a ranged touch attack (like a disintegrate, ray of frost, etc.) ignores the -4 penalty for shooting into melee? Since it is a ranged attack, I believe you would have to take a -4, but one player I had insisted otherwise. Any ideas?
