    The Guardians

If you have been away from D&D you may not quite grasp the actual power of the guardians as you have described them so far. Here is a more complete stat block from your initial description. Guardian CR High!! hp 345 (30 HD) N medium outsider (air, earth, fire or water) divine rank 0 Init +7...

    The Guardians

But aren't their power then only limited by YOUR imagination? (if so you don't really need any game stats. When encountered they do what they want and win). Could you elaborate a bit about what role these godlike beings have in your game. Are they meant to be encountered by players. As...

    Dex to Hit

Six pounds is heavy when you are swinging it around for an extended time. Heck, even your arms get heavy and difficult to strike effectively with frightfully fast. Just ask any boxer.

The Lost Boys vs. The Sunless Citadel (no regional dialect)

I think I have forgotten to thank you for taking the effort of posting this story without the regional dialect, enabling me to actually read and comprehend it. So, thank you vey much :)

The Goodman Gang in The Mysterious Tower

Why all the stupidity? Bec is actually more intelligent that the average person. (and more intelligent than Ala for instance)

The Lost Boys vs The Sunless Citadel

I would prefer the story without the regional dialects. It may partly be because english isn't my first language, but those dialects are terribly difficult for me to read. So difficult that I tend to just scim over them and hope to get the generel idea of whats being said :(

Help: 5th Level Fighter Build - New Player - Child

I would go with this list with the sole change of replacing Power attack with Improved Unarmed Strike for those times where he wants to headbutt or the likes. But I concur with the above posters who recommend starting at 1 level. Much easier and you just fudge some rolls to keep him alive. I...

Any advice for running and Iron Heroes Campaign

Expect characters to be far more skilled. Even the classes that gets the least amount of skill points will have better skills than a standard fighter or cleric. Almost everybody will be quite good at climbing, jumping, swimming and at the least 2-3 skills more. Some classes (Hunter, Thief)...

Methods for Handing Out More Feats

We have been giving out a feat per level for a long time. That haven't kept people from playing fighters. The reason is fighter only feats like weapon specialisation. But if your games go to middle and high levels you will beed PH2 to make it worth the while for fighters.

D&D 3.x What level would the 1E Shape Change be in 3.5E

That is a question easily answered. No spell, regardless of level, should dole out the power and versatility of the 1ed shapechange. Effectively the spell is only limited by the depth and breadth of the players monster knowledge. Adding to that problem the spell would be a gamestopper...

    Battle Mage (custom)

I'm sensing this is likely a futile effort, just like commenting negatively on your Dragon bound was. But I will give it one last shot. I'm not quite sure what you mean, that a level 13 Battle mage would have a lower caster level than 13 but still be able to use 9th level spells. If so it...

    Battle Mage (custom)

Personally I kind of liked the concept of the Dragon Bound (but not the mechanics) but this one seems flawed to me. I have the following issues. 1. Depending on the actual campaign (or even the specific game day) the Battle Mage could easily be a total bore to play (in a campaign focusing on...

    Battle Mage (custom)

Just like the Dragon Bound this class is IMO massively overpowered. Fastest spell acces in the game, acces to all spells, medium BAB, two good saves, no spellfailure (or spell components of any kind), medium to topnotch ability with any skill in the game and a very weird balancing tool (most...

    Advice/campatibility of "Against the Giants"

IMO what you need to take into account is: Any PC group who thinks they can defeat Giants by meleeing them will end up as decorative red paint. Giants are TOUGH melee sluggers and even CR appropiate giants will make mincemeat of most fighters. Even blaster type casters can find it hard to work...

    Climb, Jump, Swim...

Here is the way I introduce stunts to my players. Just to give you an idea what it is all about. There are more types of stunts than these two. Offensive Stunts Attack stunt (Full round action) Describe your stunt. Roll opposed skill check, using the skill the DM find appropriate. You take a...
