    My PF Questions

Your 3.5 rules guy should be helping you out here. They can only keep up with the fighter when fighting a favored enemy or if you use the guide variant, but even without it they should still be able to out damage a cleric. This is my 6th level ranger's results from a PBP combat I did. Attack...

    Two Weapon Fighting Ranger Issues

I think your dex should depend on your starting armor so you can get a decent AC. After that strength should be a priority. You will do more damage that way. That does not mean you have to ignore dex, but if you have to choose at some point, due to lack of funds as an example, go with strength...

    Two Weapon Fighting Ranger Issues

The power of TWF is the critical feats. You can jack people up with those. It does take time for the build to mature thought. Double slice is your friend since your offhand now does full strength damage with that feat. Two weapon Rend ignore DR since it is considerd to be part of another...

Is there a non-arcane archer PrC?

He is better off going straight fighter or using the archer archetype.

    Groundlings

Most of the posters are wary of Race Bloat. With that aside: Why are they able to burrow. I get the underground reference, but I still don't see why this race would be underground and why they would be able to burrow. Burrow is also an already used name for a movement type. I would suggest...

    Golems as characters

I don't like SR and I don't agree with the balancing idea, but I am not the only potential customer. I would port the idea over to the Piazo boards eventually since there is where most of the target audience hangs out.

    Golems as characters

How are the golems going to be healed? They can't use cure spells unless you made an exception and I missed it. PS:I do think a special ability as you named above would be cool though.

    Golems as characters

SR is a disguised curse. If someone friendly to you tries to cast a helpful spell the SR still applies. It takes a standard action to drop it also. How are the golems going to be healed? Why did you choose the stats for them that you did? I would drop the spell weakness. It is only there for...

    Spell-less spellcasters?

Fair enough. I won't try to dissuade you then, but I will warn you that the system assumes such things exist, and it will upset the balance of things greatly, and you will have to change a lot of other rules. Rules don't exist in a vacumn. Every change made will affect something else. I would...

Pathfinder 1E Are druids overpowered in Pathfinder?

True. I was thinking that magic fang, greater could affect all the natural attacks the same way the amulet does, but I was incorrect. I guess it boils down to how much spellcasting your character does. The monk level may be the better choice then. The AoNA does not stack with barkskin.

Pathfinder 1E Are druids overpowered in Pathfinder?

If you drop the ioun stone for an amulet of natural armor you keep the same AC, but you save 3000 for using the armor, and you also don't have to give up a caster level for the monk.

Pathfinder 1E Are druids overpowered in Pathfinder?

If your game ends on an even level the monk idea may not hurt you, but if it ends on an odd level then that lost level of spells may be an issue. I think that if you had normal gold you would have decent AC. I had an AC of 27-30 by level 11 in a real game. It was costly thought since I had to...

Advice on how to change character

The monk is not really a good class, especially for someone that is new. I would just tell the GM I am not having fun, and ask to play something else. I think a cleric or paladin would be more fun. If you don't mind be more of a support guy I would say cleric, but if you want to mix it up in...

Pathfinder 1E My New Pathfinder Policy

I live out in the middle of nowhere. My internet has gone down several times, and the local ISP takes their time fixing it. We do have a public library, and another one in a bigger city a few miles away. My point is that not having internet access and not having it at your home are two different...

What do you look for in a splat?

I don't think campaign world based on one nation is a good idea. You might be able to get around it with city states that are very different though. Going back to the first sentence there will always be a player that will want to be from one of the enemy nations. Having a homebrew like this...

What do you look for in a splat?

I want something balanced, yet unique since I am sure you will have campaign specific feats right. :) I think that your world should be different than Golarion or Forgotten Realms instead of a 2.0 version. My main thing with Eberron was the the designers made certain thing mysteries and never...

    D&D 4E Reconsidering Pathfinder over 4E

That is also a very opinionated answer. I would not 3.5 splat is not neccesary as you stated above, but I won't say it is better without 3.x splat. Saying PF is better alone is saying 3.x bring PF down. "Saying you don't need it.", is saying that PF can stand on its own. Those are two...

    D&D 4E Reconsidering Pathfinder over 4E

I agree. That is why I had to reply to GP's post. The first one made it sound like 3.x was garbage. He posted after that, but his second post sounds nothing like the first one. 3.x while not perfect is a fine system. In any event I would suggest the OP ignore blanket statements. @ the OP...

    D&D 4E Reconsidering Pathfinder over 4E

I disagree that all legacy stuff is bad. I do think a lot of it was never playtested, and one should be careful as to what they bring over. The 3.5 stuff still allows for some interesting stuff that Paizo has yet to cover. Mutliclassing is not what it was in 3.5 so I do agree with that. PF was...

    Filling the Melee Hole

Can one of you run two characters? Would the DM allow it? If not then I would go with a wildshaped focused druid who is also summon based. You should be able to handle most physical encounters.
