Hm . . . It appears as though you can't move it up at all. I hate to do this, but I forgot to look at the football schedule for this year, and there's a game that starts at 7 on Friday. I'll probably have to drop, unless you think you can make it end earlier (6:30ish) or play at a sports bar. ;)

I agree. I, as a comic book reader, but not a F4 fan, was confused. Why the huge holes? It actually wasn't explained. How did the Silver Surfer, if his board was the draw, not get consumed every time a planet was destroyed? I mean, the way they were talking in the movie, all they needed to do...

I actually liked Highlander II.

Heh, I was thinking that myself. JC explained that all the little parts of the vehicles made up all the extra size, but I don't buy it. They still look too big to me. :shrug:

Eh, it's early yet. Gen Con is in 2 months. More people may decide to come, and/or people will have schedule changes.

Thank you! :) I have been avoiding them because I'm of the firm opinion that people who aren't the original writer/conceiver can't really continue the story well (and often aren't as good at actually writing). But I really loved the Dune books, so I'm still undecided.

I dunno, I'm not sure the last book could be done without drastically changing it, if they cut out the religious bits. :shrug:

I agree with this post wholeheartedly. I really hope it's about giant robots kicking each others' butts and not the two kids falling in love (or whatever). However, I will be seeing it opening weekend!

I read the original books and loved them. I agree that at times they were really confusing and slow, but for the most part I thought they were fantastic. That being said, I've been hesitant about picking up any of the ones that weren't written by him. Can anyone give me a good review of any (or...

Haha! I would definitely have to agree with that one. It seems like some, particularly by the lesser-known writers, were rushed through the process. I have been completely turned off by some of the authors (Michele Hauf in particular).

That's funny; I also have edited for money :) and I haven't noticed too many problems. I have noticed some mistakes, but not enough to say it plagues the whole line. :shrug: :confused:
