There's a picnic at some park near the convention center. It's Sunday starting at 10 and ending whenever people stop having fun. Generally there's picnicky foods (feel free to bring your own to share or hoard) and football/Frisbee/quick pickup games.

As for advertising open spaces, you could try leaving a note at the ENnies booth. I don't know how well it works, but it's been used in the past.

If I'm understanding you correctly, to participate in Living games, I must use a first-level character at a beginning game, but for other RPGA events, I don't? I'm in the same boat as Eryndur--I'm interested but can't really figure it out. :)

John Crichton and I are also playing Lego Star Wars. Unfortunately, the jerky "camera" movement on solo makes it impossible for me to play by myself, but two-player is great!
