How often do sex and romance come up in your games?

They don't show up in every campaign, but there are usually at least undertones of romance and/or simple attraction at some point or another.

    Homosexuality in your games

Topics of gender and sexuality occasional raise their heads in my games, and more often than not, are treated maturely rather than immaturely. Personally, I've run the gamut of characters - heterosexual/homosexual/bisexual/asexual, male/female/third gender, transsexual, crossdressing, etc. Both...

Avengers sequel announced + Marvel-based TV series coming

I was figuring a title like Runaways for the TV series - recent enough that you don't have a lot of story baggage, established enough that you have some idea where to take it, and given it deals mainly with teens, potential for hand-wringing angst.

    Curiosity: Who's gonna be watching?

Hmm... I will likely be up, and I actually have Monday off due to a civic holiday in Canada, so I very well may wander my browser over that way.

Star Trek is full of extremist one trick pony races

TNG "Birthright" - Klingons farming with Romulans (albeit with weapons and in a pseudo prison camp) DS9 "Children of Time" - Worf leads a pack of Klingons in helping the descendants of the Defiant's crew sow their fields (well, they're of mixed Klingon blood).

    DISCREPANCY: The Game of Imbalance

Another option is stuff like Luck/Fate/Destiny (or whatever you want to call it). Systems like Green Ronin's Chronicle (ASoIaF) and Eden Studio's Unisystem allow characters of widely varying skill competencies, but compensate lesser skilled ones with more ad hoc drama/destiny to still allow...

Interesting mathematical dice rolling I came across.

Not really interchangeable. 1. Minimum on 3d6? 3. Minimum on one out of 3d20? 1 2. Maximum on 3d6? 18. Maximum on one out of 3d20? 20 3. Probability of 10.5 on 3d6 or one out of 3d20? Nada. 4. Probabiliy of 10 on one out of 3d20? 1:20. On 3d6? Higher Essentially, you're missing the whole bell...

Star Trek is full of extremist one trick pony races

For what it's worth, Emma Caulfield asked to have Anya killed off so she wouldn't be asked back for any spin-off shows; she wanted to move on to other types of roles.

That's why Joss Whedon has pretty much never let a couple last in his shows.

Star Trek is full of extremist one trick pony races

Without speaking for Janx, I figured he did it to link to two rather humorous Basic Instructions comics. If we can't laugh at our own hobbies, then we're no better than the animals. Except the weasels.

Star Trek is full of extremist one trick pony races

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PlanetOfHats While the audience may agree with the points made by the simplification, part of the reason for morality plays is to spur action, not just agreement.

    Stanley Cup Playoffs 2012

Touche. I was never much of a goal-scorer myself; just one of those shot blocking defensemen.

Not too belittle Brodeur's game - he played great - but that was a lot of iron the Kings hit.

GAME OF THRONES #10:Valar Morghulis ACT 20 Chapter 2-2012 *Season Ending*

Well, maybe, maybe not. Cleftjaw and co up and leave? Check. Winterfell burnt down? Check. Related? Undecided. Cleftjaw and co could have just as easily turned over Theon to "Stark's" men, and been butchered anyway by Ramsay Snow before the bastard goes on to burn down Winterfell. After all...
